- At the sight of Hephaestus, you immediately let go of Hestia's wrist. She quickly pulls Hestia from you and started asking her what you did. You look closely into her wrist and see that it already started to bruise -
"I told you to be careful around him, Hestia!" Hephaestus says while shaking her
"You got it wrong, Hephaestus! He just-." Hestia says before being cut off by Hephaestus
- Hephaestus pulls Hestia into the backroom. She locks the door and clicks a button to alert the members in the different shops in the tower before turning back to Hestia -
[With Hestia and Hephaestus]
"This should keep him for now! My members will be here in a few seconds, I think we can restrain him with our numbers." Hephaestus says with fear in her voice, Hestia walks over to Hephaestus, pats her in the back, and sighs
"Hephaestus, I know you really care for me, but (Y/N) isn't at bad as it seems. He's just misunderstood." Hestia says at her with a calm smile
"B-but your wrist?" Hephaestus asks, worried for her closest friend
"I already understood him, Hephaestus. He doesn't have control of his strength. He held my wrist because he wanted to pay for the weapon I asked you to make, but I rejected. He... also doesn't have control over his emotions. He got mad because he saw me working for another God. He just wants a better life for me." Hestia solemnly explains, looking at her bruised wrist
"Then what do you propose we should do to him? He can't just go around hurting people because he has no control over his strength and emotions!" Hephaestus retorts, understanding (Y/N) but still in fear of what he's capable of
"We let him grow, Hephaestus. Say, what time did he start hunting Ares? You knew some information about him, right?" Hestia asks, wanting to prove your innocence to Hephaestus
"If I recall, one of my members interviewed the mayor in Daemarrel, the old man said a kid no more than seven saved them from Ares' knights." Hephaestus says, Hestia looks down in sorrow, but it gave her more determination to help you
"See Hephaestus! He was just seven when his family got taken away from him! Seven! He grew up alone. He didn't have any guidance! So, as his Goddess, he is my responsibility." Hestia explains, Hephaestus gains a regretful look at how she acted
'But I'm just looking over for Hestia. I guess I'm still wrong either way.' Hephaestus thought to herself, accepting the fact that she irrationally judged someone
"Y-you're right, Hestia. I guess I'm wrong, but it truly is a sight to see you grow! You started as a freeloader to a Goddess that has responsibilities and acts accordingly. I could even say that you're better than me right now!" Hephaestus says with a satisfied and proud smile
"Hey! I wasn't freeloading! It's called a head-start! And besides, you should've seen (Y/N) when I scolded him and Bell. He looked like a lost puppy!" Hestia replies, laughing
- Their conversation was stopped by the sound of laughter. Hephaestus opens the door and sees that you and her members are casually joking around -
[With You And Hephaestus' Members]
"...and then I said, now that's a KATANA!" You joke, the members of the Hephaestus Familia starts laughing again, Hestia and Hephaestus comes out of the room
"What are you talking about, Goddess Hephaestus? This guy isn't a threat. He's actually fun to be around." A member of the Familia says
"See Hephaestus, I told you he isn't bad!" Hestia says, sealing your innocence contract to Hephaestus
"I guess so." Hephaestus replies with a smile
- Hephaestus gestures for her members to leave them and go back to their assigned shops. They all leave -
"(Y/N) please make-up with Hephaestus. So she would stop thinking that you're trying to kill me!" Hestia says, pulling you towards Hephaestus
- Both of you shook hands while Hestia watches with a happy and satisfied smile -
"I'm really sorry for judging you." Hephaestus says
"It was half my fault also. I should've controlled my emotions. I just wanted Goddess to stop working. But Goddess! Please, the offer still stands for paying your debt!" You say, looking at Hestia
"No! I told you, this is my own responsibility!" Hestia replies with a stubborn tone
"If you don't want to accept my offer, then please just pay the 30 Million Valis I gave you. That money was supposed for Bell's weapon, so it would give me happiness if I helped even a little bit." You reply, kneeling down in front of her
"No! That is your own money! How long have you worked to get 30 Million Valis! A month! A Year! I certainly will not let you use your life's savings!" Hestia explains, you chuckle internally knowing it just took you one night
"Goddess, please! I won't leave here unless you accept!" You say, trying to match the stubbornness Hestia is giving
"Hmph! Fine! You win!" Hestia says pouting
"Finally! I thought I'd never get through you, Goddess!" You say, celebrating, Hephaestus giggles a little bit at your childish behavior
"You know, (Y/N). I'm now glad you joined Hestia's Familia." Hephaestus says, still smiling
"Is it because I'm a capable God that can handle him rather than you?" Hestia states, a smug look plastered in her face while pointing at Hephaestus
"No! It's because someone now can beat your stubbornness!" Hephaestus snaps at her, Hestia yelps in fear
- Suddenly, you feel someone tap you in the back, you turn around and see Ryuu, still wearing her work outfit -
"Hey, (Y/N)! I'm sorry for not going with you during Monsterphilia. I wanted to go, but Mama Mia didn't allow me." She says, bowing her head
"It's ok! It's not your fault, Ryuu." You reply, awkwardly scratching the back of your head
"But I'm free today! Can you accompany me?" She says, blushing a little bit
"S-sure! I'd be delighted to! Bye, Goddess, Hephaestus. I need to accompany my... friend! Yeah, Friend!" You say leaving and following Ryuu
"Alright! I take it back, Hephaestus. He's bad, I thought he was different from Bell!" Hestia says, irritated, Hephaestus just shakes her head with a smile
