- You use [Spies From The Shadows] to try and locate from which side the Ares' knights are coming, but as it reaches a great height, something shoots it down -
"That has never happened before!" You say in worry. Out of all the times you used that skill, not once has it been shot down. The speed of the crow made it almost impossible.
"(Y/N)! Come here and help us!" Raziel shouts, his voice straining from the sheer force he's exerting. You run to them and see the other men in the village doing their best to keep the gate shut. The gate almost opens from the strength of the battering ram.
"[Oni], assist them." You command. A plume of smoke comes out of your body and forms into Oni. He uses his Blood Fury to gain additional strength as he holds off the gate. The men all gasp in awe when the gate didn't even budge anymore.
"Protect the people, Raziel. I'll make sure no one can get inside." You command, your voice stern, but your expression shows worry. With every battle, your enemy becomes stronger and stronger. You fear what they sent right now.
- You teleport atop the wall and look down to see the knights manning the ram. Using Clown's Afterpiece Tonic, you shake it in your hand before dropping it down. The bottle breaks, releasing a pink smoke. You can hear the knights cough uncontrollably. After the smoke dissipates, you see them all dead on the ground, their mouths bubbling -
"That was easy." You say with a smile as you dropdown. The other knights quickly retreated to get as far away as possible from you. You smirk as you run to them, cutting down knight after knight as you pass through large numbers of them.
- But you were stopped when someone grabbed your hand. You try to cut it with your scythe, but it flings you back to the gate as if you are weightless. You look at the group of knights to try and pinpoint who it is. But no one stood out -
'Weird, someone that strong should've been already appointed general by Ares.' You thought, looking back at again to see if you missed someone. No one dared make a move, and no one also is giving away their presence.
"Alright. None of you are moving, and no one is brave enough to step forward. [Nightmare]! [Spirit]!" You command. Two creatures got summoned. The other man has burnt skin, wearing a striped red shirt along with a brown fedora, a clawed glove in his right hand. The other one is a young girl, her black hair just like her body that is covered with only strips of cloth is floating, glass shards sticking out of her shoulder as parts of her body are cut and are not even attached.
- The knights all shriek in terror at the sight of the two. They don't exactly know what the two can do, but they know they'll perish at the hands of those creatures -
"Don't worry, you won't get hurt... well, not physically." You exclaim, mumbling the last part. You whisper something Spirit, she disappears. You command Nightmare, and he nods, instantly out of sight as fire consumed his body. In just a few seconds, almost all the knights fall down, unconscious.
"So it was you who threw me. With that strength of yours, I'm surprised you wear that cheap armor." You say, pointing out that Ares should've at least gave him some high-end equipment.
"I'm not even wearing armor." He proudly says. You stare in confusion, but your eyes widen as his armor turns to black ooze and forms regular clothing.
