Chapter 3

- You skip happily looking at all the dead bodies dead on the ground, the feeling of revenge made you extremely happy, that your family can now rest in peace, but Ares being alive still bothers you -

'He still could attack and pillage other towns for popularity.' You thought to yourself

- You were fueled by rage again, your happiness, gone as fast as you felt it. You raised your hand and gathered all the souls of the dead bandits, a big cloud formed in front of you after the smoke dispersed, two pendants were left, the first one was complete while the other is halfway through. You put the unfinished in your pocket and examined the new -

"Weird, it looks like a disfigured face." You say to yourself

- You quickly broke the pendant in your hand, the creature formed, showing a disfigured face and parts of the body while carrying an unusual weapon and a hammer -

"What's your power?" You asked excitedly

- The creature nodded holding the weapon in its two hands, pulled something and it whirred, the blade spun in a circular motion, and ran at inhumane speeds breaking everything in its path, you were surprised at how strong it is, it broke through wooden, stone, and even metal walls -

"Whoa!" You shouted at the immense speed and durability you saw

- You called Wraith and summoned Trapper, the two creatures stood before you waiting for your orders -

"Grab all the valis." You ordered

- They both left taking valis from the dead corpses as you try to think a name for the new addition -

"Hillbilly! I'll call you, Hillbilly." You said pointing at Hillbilly as he goes near you

- You thought to yourself where that name came from but just dismissed it as gibberish. The two came back holding lots of valis, you put it in your bag before counting it -

'fifty-thousand valis, not bad.' You thought to yourself

"It's already night, so why don't we just camp here." You said to them, but they just blankly looked at you

- You go inside one of the empty tents and sigh as you order them to turn back into pendants, once they formed you put them into the bag and tried to get some rest unfazed by all the lifeless bodies outside your tent -

- You wake up and start to plan where you're going next, you pulled out the scroll containing a map to Ares' headquarters -

"Where's the closest village?" You ask as you looked through the map

"Ah! There! Daemarrel. My dad has already been there, small village, nice people, and average shops." Alright let's go

- You leave the bandit camp passing through the food stock and taking some fruits, you travel for a couple of hours and arrived in the town, but something surprised you -

"What the Hell?" You exclaimed

- The whole town is militarized, high stone walls were being made, the original settlers were all imprisoned separating the men and the women, and knights crowded the place. You approached, but the guards stopped you -

"Halt!" The guard raised his hand signaling you to stop

- You hold the Trapper pendant in case the guards are hostile. The other guard quickly raised his sword and caught you off guard, you close your eyes and in reflex, raised your hands, you hear bear traps going off, as you opened your eyes you see the two guards already dead from the poison -

"Well, that makes things much easier." You happily state

- The other guards seeing what just happened rapidly closed the gates, they look at you with smiles plastered on their places -

"You guys just gave me a reason to do this." You smugly said as you broke Hillbilly's pendant

- The guard's smiles were quickly wiped out as they see Hillbilly tore through the stone wall as if it was paper, the guards scramble around confused on what to do -

"Call General Borin!" A knight shouted

- The knights form a defensive line raising their shields as they wait for their savior, they might look tough, but you can see some with their legs shaking in fear, You smile at this, knowing already how this one-sided fight will end, you summon Trapper, the knights get terrified as he forms in your side -

"You know what to do." You said to Trapper

- Trapper raised his hands, and the knights all fall down one by one like dominoes, once they all died, a man clad in golden armor appeared pointing his greatsword at you -

"You'll pay for what you did, child!" The man said

"Then make me!" You rebutted

"Such arrogance coming for a child, what threat would you pose to a level 3 knight!" He proudly states

"That's what the last one said." You mockingly say

"Who? Althatos? Ha! That weakling, it's no surprise you beat him, but I will lead you to your end. Lord Ares would reward me for besting y-." he brags before being cut off (Literally)

- His body falls down, sliced cleanly in half. You approach his corpse and took the keys to the cell as Wraith reappears behind him -

"Nice work, Wraith! We need to free the townsfolk, but before that, let's do this first."

- You took the souls of the dead knights it forms the pendant fully, especially with the level 3 knight, you put it in your pocket and ordered the other to turn back also, once you stored the others you went to the cells and released the townsfolk. You smile as you see the families reunite, you wish someone also saved your village, but you were cut out of your trance by the chief of the town -

"Thank you, kind adventurer! We have been imprisoned for months, kindly tell me from which Familia you belong." The chief thanked

"Oh! I'm not from any Familia, I'm just a traveler." You responded

- The chief looked at you skeptically confused at how you were able to summon and use magic without the aid of a God's blessing, but he smiles again and looks at you -

"If that's the case, then how may we thank you for your kindness?" The chief says

"Can you tell me where their General lived?" You ask

"Yes!" The chief replied

- The chief walked you into the middle of the town to see the chief's house, he said that the general lived here as they were held captive -

"Thank you." You said to the chief as he left and aided the townsfolk

- You looked around the house and saw a room full of scrolls, in them, can be seen a list of all Ares' Generals and their locations -

"Jackpot!" You said as you put the scrolls in your bag
