Damien
“Colten, I want you to take fifty men and storm the north of Sudan. Marcus, you’ll be entering from the sea into Kenya. I’m driving into Ethiopia and we are settling this. Today,” Damien growled out.
The alpha was tired of having the weight of vampire madness on his shoulders and he was determined for it to end. When he and his pack arrived the day before, Damien finally saw the terrible conditions that he had been avoiding. His rage at the vampires grew every second and today was the day he would let his anger out.
His wolf was driving him wild, and Damien wrote it off as eagerness for vampire blood. Luca kept whimpering in his mind and Damien pulled at his hair in frustration.
“Damien, are you sure you don’t want me with you? You’re walking right into the lion’s den here,” Colten’s eyes held concern that Damien didn’t want.
“I told you that you’re taking care of the Sudan,” Damien growled ferociously, causing his pack members to cringe.
“Fine,” Colten rolled his eyes and stormed away. Damien smirked at his beta’s immaturity but left it alone. He turned to his pack members that were heading to Ethiopia with him.
“Get ready. We are leaving in two minutes,” He watched as they scrambled away.
“Leave now,” Luca begged with him but Damien ignored his pleas. There was going to be plenty of vampires to kill and Luca’s impatience wasn’t helping him concentrate.
“Shut the fuck up, dog,” Damien bit back.
Damien and his pack had stayed in the Congo for the last day because it was far enough away to ensure safety. Now, though, it was time to walk right into the war. He walked over to his car and got in, not really wanting to ride with any other people. He put it in drive and slammed on the gas, pulling up to where his group was.
“Follow me. I’m going to stop about two miles from the village Nicolai is staying in. We’ll shift there. It’ll be easier to fight that way,” the men nodded and quickly jumped into their vehicles and trailed behind their alpha as he sped toward the vampires.

Damien let Luca take over. His was itching to get to town, which Damien assumed meant that Luca was itching to get to Nicolai and rip his skull from his spine. There hadn’t been too many attacks on his group yet, just a few vampires that were on perimeter duty. Damien was about a minute from the village and Luca was pushing him to go faster.
Damien smelled blood everywhere. Human blood. His muscles burned as he sped into the rather large village in front of him. The humans saw him first, and he noticed about half of them run into their huts. The vampires only started to smell him when he was standing in the open letting the wind carry his scent. He wanted them to know he was there.
Immediately every bloodsucker went into defensive mode but they were too focused on Damien to notice that the rest of the pack was surrounding the borders and bursting in.
“I don’t want one human scathed,” Damien snapped into the mind link to his pack. He watched as the vampire’s bodies slowly formed piles. Damien was too busy sniffing out Nicolai to notice that more humans were sprinting into the village. They weren’t from Africa, though, their skin color proved that. Their scents mixed in with the others and Damien was too focused to care.
When he didn’t find Nicolai’s scent, he found the next best thing. He busted the door open and snarled at the vampire that stood there. Tyrone sat on a makeshift bed chuckling to himself.
