A/N: Ok, while I do ship Cleril, it's super hard for me to write Cleril fanfiction. Like I can never capture the adorableness clearly. So please note that I did try, but I'm terrible at Cleril. This is their flying date, by the way.

On a separate note, do you ever forget the simplest words? Like I had to look up at least half of these words while writing this thing. And not fancy words- I'm talking regular, everyday words. Like "distracted." I'm not kidding. I actually had to look up distracted because I forgot it was a word.

And on another separate note...

DARKSTALKER!! *sobs uncontrollably*

So I just finished rereading Darkstalker: Legends. I reread all the books at the beginning of summer but I just decided to read Darkstalker today (last week, whatever- I have had this written since August 5th but am only releasing one chapter a week maximum). I had been putting it off because it makes me cry every time I read it. Every line in the climax of the book makes me that much closer to breaking down and crying my eyes out until there's nothing left. But I still really love the book, so I took a chance and read it, while knowing that my heart was about to break when I got to the end. What are your thoughts on the book?

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

Clay looked wistfully out into the rain as he tried to listen to his students. Usually, he was a lot more attentive, but they noticed how he was preoccupied with his thoughts today. He had gotten more than a few remarks on his distracted manner today.

Marsh especially noticed his change in mood.

"Hey Clay," he said, nudging his wing with his own. "Excited for your big date this afternoon?"

"What? No. It's not a date." He paused. "Is it a date?"

"You're going to fly with a girl. Alone. For more than a few minutes. And you loooooooooooove her. I'd say that's a date!"

"We're not going to be alone, we're just... No, you're right. This is a date."

Marsh smirked. "You're taking this awfully well for someone who just realized that his crush likes him back."

"WHAT? Oh my gosh! Oh no! What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?"

Marsh raised an eyebrow at his older brother. "Come on, Clay! It's not a big deal! It's not even a problem. My future sister- in- law is in love with you. That's perfect! Now you can tell her about your feelings and then you can go on lots of dates and get married and have lots of dragonets and grow old together and die in each other's arms. It's the ultimate life plan!"

"I can't tell her that I like her!"

"Why not?"

"I just... can't!"

"There are no excuses for this. You love her, she loves you. You're going on a date. It's the perfect time to tell her everything!"

"Everything?" he echoed.

"Well not literally," Marsh said, rolling his eyes.

"I know that!" he snapped. "How do you tell a girl that you like her?"

"I don't know. I've never had to say it before. Go ask your friends."

Clay jumped into action and hurried down the hall to the teacher's caves.

"I NEED HELP!" he exclaimed as he burst into the room.

"Did another student blow up the school?"
