I got to the front of school, without being seen through any windows and the last bell finally rang, so I just blended into the crowd, trying to find my mom's car.
If you haven't guessed by now, I skipped school. I almost always do. In school I'm known as the girl who has no friends, 'cuz she choses not to. The girl that all the guys want, but she won't let them have her. The girl that all the popular girls hate. I was the school's rebel.
I soon found my mom's car and I hoped in. "Hey, how was your day" she asked me.
"A normal day" I said back to her. I looked at her and she was sweating and breathing heavy. "hey, whats up with you? Why are you acting like that"
"I'm not acting like anything. Don't worry about it" she said back to me.
"Okay, what are you hiding from me?" I asked her, knowing she was.
"Nothing Ryder" she said.
"BULLSHIT" I screamed.
"Do not, use that language" she said to me.
"Do not, hide stuff from me!" I said back to her.
"Its for your best, if you don't know" she said to me.
"Are you fuc- you know what, no, I'm not having this argument with you, now" I told her. I'll find out later any ways whether she tell me or I find out myself.
We got home and I went straight upstairs, not wanting to take to my step-father. I don't like him but I'm not much a fan of my real father either. In fact, if I had to chose I would pick my step-dad any day of the week.
I lived in a big house, mostly cuz, my step-father has a good job. I also, have a lot of money, saved up.
I was just on my bed, on my phone. I, soon got really bored so I decided to go out and get food.
I opened my door, to see my little 6-year-old half-brother, Dominic about to knock. I swear, I have such a sweet spot for him.
"Hey Dom, whats up" I asked him.
"Hey Ry, I was bored and I wanted to see what you were doing" he said back.
"Well, I was about to head out, for some food. Wanna come?" I asked him.
"Can I?" He remarked.
"Of couse, let go" I exclaimed and we headed downstairs. "I'm going out with Dom" I told my mom and step-dad.
"Okay but please be careful" she said back. I muttered a ya, ya in response and we left.
We penny boarded to 7/11. Since we only had one and he doesn't know how to ride, I have to carry him. it isn't a challenge, due to the fact he isn't heavy and I'm pretty strong.
We got to 7/11 and we went to get candy. I saw a few popular people from school here but I just ignored them. He wanted Mike and Ikes and Sour Patch kids just like me. Then we went to the drinks. He got a Kool Aid and I wanted an Arizona Ice Tea.
It was at the bottom, so I bent down to get it. I felt someone smack my ass.
I turned to Dom and mouthed, "look away" and he did. I turned around, to see the captain of the football team, Tyler Sanders.
"Hey Ryder, nice ass" he said to me.
"Hey Tyler, nice black eye" I remarked and he looked at me confused.
"What is that supp-" He started but got cut off by me punching him in the eye, and kneeing him in the balls. I saw, all his friends laughing. He fell to the ground.
I got Dom, paid and left.
"Who was that guy?" Dom asked me.
"Someone, you don't wanna be like" I replied, and we went to the park.

It was the next day and I decided I would actually go to school today. So, here I am, at lunch, sitting at my own table, surrounded by idiots. Some teachers asked me where I was yesterday, but I just told them, that, that is private information.
I saw a lunch tray, slam on the edge of my table. I looked and saw it was Carly Knight and her clique, behind her. She was Tyler's girlfriend, and the most popular girl at school.
"Hey I saw what you did to my boyfriend and I'm not happy about it. Next time, keep your hands to yourself" she said to me, acting all tough.
"Well, maybe if you had an ass to give him, he wouldn't be trying to get mine." I remarked.
"It was an accident. Don't flatter yourself, Harris. And next time you touch my boyfriend, I'll take things into my own hands." she replied and I laughed.
"Oh, no! I'm so scared! The Carly Knight is gonna hurt me!" I said laughing, then calmed down. "Guess what Knight, I'm not afraid of you. You aren't gonna do shit, if I touch your boyfriend again and we both know it. Cuz, I may not be scared of you but you're scared of me. Cuz you know if I wanted to, I could steal any of your boyfriends, at any time, with one single action. Your boyfriends, aren't the Prince Charmings, you think they are. And you know it, too. You just can't accept the truth." I said to them with a smirk. They looked offened, and they took off. "Look at them running from the truth" I said outloud.

The last bell finally rang and I went to my locker to get my penny board, since that is how, I'm gonna be getting home. I opened my locker and got the penny board. I saw a figure appear by my locker.
"Hey Ry" he said trying to flirt with me.
"What do you want now?" I asked him.
"What I've always wanted. You. And your ass" he said trying to get closer to me.
"Look just cause your girlfriend doesn't give you any of her ass doesn't mean you should be asking for mine" I said and people around us, ohh'd.
"I'm not scared of you, Ry. You may act all badass but you just fake it all. You're scared of things, a lot of things. Like your real-dad, like your little brother getting hurt and more" he said. How did he know about my dad? It was a bad subject but I didn't show emotion.
"Ya I'm scared of things. But not as many, compared to you. Your scared of losing your reputation here. Your football career, being ruined. Getting bad grades. Getting embarrassed infront of your friends. Losing your family. Want me to keep going on with the list?" I asked.
"Ryder, I'm not scared of you." He replied and I saw his hand was were my locker shuts, and my locker was still open for no reason.
"We'll see about that" I said and he looked at me like bring it. I slammed my locker shut and he screamed. I went up to him and whispered in his ear. "Don't underestimate me, Tyler. I'm capable of unimaginable things."
With that said, I pushed through the crowd that was watching us, argue and headed home.

So this was the second time I wrote this chapter cuz somehow, it got deleted before and I had to re-write this whole chapter over again.
But anyways, this is my first chapter and I'm really excited to see where is the book is gonna go. I have big plans for it.
You will be learning more about her dad and her past, as the story continues.
Next chapter, she'll be finding our what her parents were hiding from her. I will be posting every Wednesday!
