I woke up next day with a hug headache. After, mine and Nash's conversation last night, he left the party. Everyone was asking me where he went, and I didn't know how to answer them.
I'm meeting with the girls, and we will probably end up talking about it and tell them everything.
I hoped out of bed and into the shower. I thought about it and decided, to just completely forget about boys. I'm just a teenager and I'm gonna try to live my life, and have fun. I don't need a boyfriend or any feelings towards boys.
I got out of the shower, dried my hair and put on deodorant. My outfit consisted of bubblegum-colored shirt with a purple pocket and ripped jean shorts. I put on pink and gold sandals and pink and gold ray bands and a matching watch.
Once it was 11:30, I headed downstairs, since I was meeting the girls for lunch. Cameron was flipping through the mail.
"Hey Cam" I smiled.
"Hey Ry. You got a piece of mail" He informed.
"Its from the courtroom" I read, he looked at me confused. I shrugged, opened it, and read it out loud. "Dear Ms. Dallas, this letter to inform about, Daniel James, has been objected to 15 years in the state prison for the illegal drugging of minor, Ryder Dallas. His family apologizes for his actions. We have a pleasure to inform you, you are now safe and I hope you feel safe. Thank you for the understanding and please, stay safe. Sincerely, The Los Angeles Court of supreme justice"
"Wow. We didn't actually have to go to court" Cam exclaimed.
"I know right! He must've confessed or something" I shrugged.
"At least, he's in jail now" Cam said.
"Ya. Well, I'm going out with the girls for lunch, and somewhere afterwards probably" I explained.
"Okay. Have fun" He said.
"Oh and if Nash is over, can you text me to tell me because I really don't need to see him" I begged.
"You can't avoid him forever" Cameron explained.
"I can try" I smirked and walked outside. Allison's range rover pulled up and I hoped in the back. Allison was driving, Vicky was in the passenger, and Skylar was in the back.
"Hey" I exclaimed.
"Hi" they all replied and we headed to Chipotle, to eat lunch. We got our food and sat down.
"So, what happened, last night with you and Nash" Vicky asked.
I explained to the every detail of what happened with me and Nash.
"So, you pushed the only guy that you have ever loved, away?" Skylar questioned.
"Well, yea. I mean I don't know if I loved him. Its just someone was gonna get hurt and it was just something I had to do, for him." I explained.
"No. Ryder. You were doing this for yourself, just because you're scared of getting hurt" Allison stated.
"Pushing people away, and denying yourself love makes you weak, not strong." Vicky announced.
"Especially, when you do it out of fear" Skylar said.
"But I didn't do it out of fear" I exclaimed. "I was doing what I thought was right."
"For who?" Allison asked.
"Look. I don't need a boyfriend. I'm a teenager, going through life. I just wanna have fun, without the feeling towards guys." I exclaimed.
"Feelings are suppose to be good. Don't ruin them" Skylar tried to pursue.
"Not when, you know someone is bound to get hurt" I muttered. "Lets just quit talking about this. What movie are we watching later?"
"We were thinking about The Gallows" Vicky informed.
"Um more like you and Allison. I don't wanna watch that scary shit" Skylar announced and we laughed.
"Come on Skylar!" Allison begged.
"Its not like something is going to pop out of the screen." I stated.
"Fine, I'll go but if it gets too scary, I'm leaving the movie theater." Skylar gave in.
