Its Friday now and tonight, magcon was going to a formal dinner. Vicky and Cameron invited all of us, so I'm guessing its gonna be their announcement.
Everyone is going formal and I was getting ready because we have less than 2 hours, before we are all leaving.
I took a shower and got my dress on and started my make up. I did a smokey eye and red lipstick. And after that I slipped on my classic black heels. I put my phone, charger, earphones and lipstick in a black purse that had some gold on it.
I headed downstairs and saw everyone there. Including Nash. This was gonna be the first time, I've seen him, since everything but I was ready.
Cameron was wearing a suit. And Vicky was wearing a beautiful white, sleeveless dress and a small silver line across the waist. And the guys were wearing collar shirts or button ups. The girls were wearing either dresses or rompers.
Mine and Nash's eyes met, but I quickly looked away. I greeted everyone except Nash. I was waited for us to leave, in a corner by myself when Nash approaches me.
"Hello Ryder. You look gorgeous tonight" Nash compliments. I don't know what he was doing but it wasn't gonna work.
"I know" I smirked. "Did you not believe me when I said, Rebel Ryder is coming back?"
"You can't push me away that easily, Ry" Nash smirked back.
"I, sure as hell, can try" I snickered.
"And I, sure as hell, can wait because I don't want anyone else" Nash stated, which made my smile drop.
"You shouldn't hold your breathe" I informed.
"And that right there is why I don't believe the rebel inside of you is out because when I said that a moment of guilt hit your eyes. I thought you didn't have feelings" Nash smirked.
"You know what you don't understand Nash? You don't understand, there are times, people like me, have to stop caring, we have to turn off our emotions, and feelings, just to protect ourselves from getting hurt" I declared.
"What makes you think you're gonna get hurt" He asked.
"Because Nash, everyone hurts me in the end." I stated.
"Ryder. What happened to you, to make you think that way?" Nash asked. "Who hurt you?"
I didn't say anything and luckily Cam saved me and called everyone to the car. We soon got to this restaurant and we got a private room for all of us to eat. I sat in between Matt and Shawn. Vicky and Cam sat in front of us.
We order drinks and food and all. When the food came around, before anyone starting eating, Cam and Vicky stood up, to make an announcement.
"So, everyone may be wondering why we organized this dinner, and invited everyone out" Cam started.
"Not really. We just thought, you were being nice" Taylor cracked a joke and everyone laughed.
"But in all seriousness, we have something very huge to tell you all" Vicky informed. Her and Cam looked at each other.
"You're not pregnant... are you?" Skylar asked and Cam looked at Vicky, and Vicky gave Skylar a "yikes" look.
"Surprise" Cam muttered. Everyone had a happy reaction. "However, thats not the only surprise."
"What?" Vicky asked. I narrowed my eyes. I looked over and saw Nash recording. He knew?
"I've known Vicky for about 2 years now. And we've been dating for almost a year. Let me just tell you hitting her with that volleyball at the beach, on July 15th, 2013 was the best thing I did in my entire life. Because, I was able to meet the person, that was going to change my life forever. She's sweet, nice, crazy, funny, amazing, sexy, genuine, smart, and most beautiful girl, I have ever met and there would be no other girl, I would want to spend the rest of my life with." Cameron announced and turned to face Vicky. Everyone knew what he was about to do, even her. "Now, I know we're young and I know, we're going to go through some rough patches. However, I also know, I would take it like a man, if that means, I get to spend the rest of my life with you. So, Vicky Raquel Fernandes, while you give me the honor of being your husband?"
"Oh my god, Cameron" Vicky gasped to Cam who has been on one knee and holding a box.
"And I'm not saying we have to do it in a month, or a year or 5 years from now. We can do it whenever we are ready but there is no one else, I'd rather want to create a beautiful family with" Cameron blushed, I was tearing up for them and Vicky had tears running down her face.
"Yes. Cameron Alexander Dallas. I would love to spend the rest of my life with you." Vicky announced. Cameron started crying too. He took the ring out of the box and placed to on her finger. He stood up and hugged. Everyone screamed and cheered and wooed.
When they were done, I got up and went over to them.
"Vicky, I'm so happy for you!" I said, tackling into a hug.
"Thanks Ry!" She exclaimed.
"You could call me sister-in-law" I winked at her and we laughed. Then I walked over to Cam and gave him a hug.
"Cam, congratulations. I know we haven't known each other forever but damn, I'm so proud of you" I smiled.
"Thanks sis. And trust me, I feel like I have known you for an eternity." Cam sighed.
"I'll take that as a compliment" I smiled. We had such a fun night
