I woke up to my text message notification sound. I roll over to the other side of my bed and grab my phone, to check it.
Nash🌪
I'm picking you up in an hour. Be ready.
Fucking Hamilton. I responded.
R: No
N: yes. No arguing.
R: can't make me.
N: please.
R: why should I?
N: for me?
R: not a good reason
N: okay... For Sky? She misses you.
R: I miss her too...
N: then come on
R: fine.
N: be ready in an hour
R: already mentioned that
N: just making sure you know
What did I just get myself into?
~One hour later~
I was in my room on twitter, when Cam called from downstairs.
"Ryder! Nash is here!"
"He can wait" I yelled back. I got up and put my shoes on, talking my time. I was wearing sweats and a t-shirt and Uggs. I got no one to impress.
I grabbed my penny board and headed downstairs. I was faced with Cam and Nash whispering.
"Hey weirdos!" I yelled and they jumped. "Awe. You telling each other some secret?"
"You know, its your fault she's like this" Cameron muttered.
"I know" Nash nodded. I walk over to stand right in front of them.
"Okay, well you two have fun then" Cam awkwardly expressed, walking away.
"Oh, we will" Nash smiled. "You look-"
"You know, I'm doing this for Sky right? Not for you." I cut him off.
"I know" He replied.
"Good. Now, lets go" I replied.
We hoped on our penny boards and headed to Nash's house. I led the whole time, mostly because I was in a rush.
We get there in about 5 minutes, and we haven't spoken one word.
Once we got there, I waited for him to catch up and open the door. Once he did, I was greeted with an excited Skylynn Floyd and annoyed Hayes Grier.
"Ryder!" Sky exclaimed.
"Hi Sky!" I knelt down and gave her a hug.
"I missed you!" She stated.
"I miss you too!" I replied.
"Can you come play horsies with me. These boys suck at it" She begged.
"I could imagine" I rolled my eyes.
She grabbed my hand and led me upstairs. Once we got to her room, I closed the door and sat on the ground. She grabbed a bunch of her Horse toys.
"I got a lot more since the last time you were here" Sky explained.
"Really?" I questioned .
"Yea. And I named this one after you" Sky exclaimed, hold a beautiful horse.
"Oh my god Sky. I'm honored." I smiled. I grabbed the horse. It was really pretty. It was white with bright blue eyes, and the tip of her "mohawk" was the same color. "It's beautiful, Sky"
"Thats why I named it after you" Sky replied.
"Awe Sky. You're beautiful too." I complimented.
"Thanks Ry" She smiled. I gave her a tight hug.
After playing horsies with Sky, I started cleaning up because it was getting late.
"Hey Ry?" Sky called.
