This is what I call GOING BACK TO SQUARE 1.

The strong hand holding on my neck.

The strong thug on my hair.

The force against my body.

And very soon, it was the head that rest on my shoulder.

The sound of two persons searching for air.

The hold on my hair was soon released but our body didnt separate. Arms were soon wrapped around me and I watched those blue eyes look up at me in the mirror.

I couldn't help the smile that grew on my face. I released the counter and reached up to touch his cheek. "You havent changed one bit" He chuckled and I quickly covered his mouth.

"Our parents are literally down the hall" I was still smiling when I said this. It was more like I wanted to laugh about our current state.

"I am pretty sure, they have heard you by now" He eased off me then stepped  away from me allowing me to turn around to face him. I allowed my eyes to run over his body once again. But I met his eyes with a glare. "You are still so tiny" He was smiling at me as he took a step towards me. I side stepped him as I giggle at his comment.

I was always tiny.
David was 6'3 and I was 5'6.
If he started chasing me inside the bathroom, it would look like a giant chasing a cat or something.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me to him. He took hold of my chin and tilted my head upwards so I was looking up at him. His eyes were back to searching my face and I was anticipating what he was going to do."Let me fix everything this time" he whispered. I was not startled but he caught me off-guard. I felt his hand on my waist and soon he released my chin. He pulled me into a hug and even though he was lifting me from the floor. I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Give me time to fix it" the atmosphere in the room changed and I felt as if it went from an playful place to one of raw emotions. "Just trust me"

I wrapped my legs around him and placed a kiss on his shoulder. "I love you" I whispered.

He eased up so we could look at each other. His arms were still holding me up. "But do you trust me?" I felt when his hand moved and I watched as he took hold of the engagement ring that was still on my necklace. "You have my heart but I have fumbled yours. I want you to trust me again with your heart".

Why was I about to cry?
No, I was crying already.
My eyes were stinging, soon my vision got blurry then something started rolling down my cheeks.

"When you say things like these, I cant help but love you more" I touched his cheek as I sniffled.

Even though he said he wanted to fix everything. He just cheated on his girlfriend....I mean fiancee. How are we gonna work this out? She admires him so much.

He rested his forehead against mine and my hand found it's way into his hair. "Just let me fix it" He whispered again and I just nod at his words.

"I trust you!"

"Mommy! Mommy! Wake up"

I don't know what was worse Kenny shouting or the sunlight hitting my face. I placed my arm over my face and slowly started opening my eyes. "Mommy!" Kenny was standing by the balcony door and pointing at something.

"What is it Kenny?" I did start getting up from the bed until she pulled the door open.

"Mommy! Its hurt mommy! The bird!" She was still shouting so I made my way over there slowly.

There was small bird on the balcony floor, chirping away but it was obvious that something was wrong with it's wing. And it was scared of Kenny too because all she did was tell at me and point at it.

"We need to take it to the doctor. Uncle David will know what to do with it" Kenny ran by me before I could protest about waking anybody up.

I sighed and pushed my hair from my face. I sat in the chair on the balcony because I was not an animal person. And I was scared of touching it.

"Its in here" I looked up and Kenny was dragging David by his hand. "Fix it!" He didnt hesitate to stoop down and take the bird into his hand. He looked at it as Kenny continued to ask about 20 questions.

"Definitely broke a wing" He finally answered. "There should be a vet in town".

"Can I come? Mommy, can I go?" Kenny turned to me.

How did she have all this energy in the morning? I was barely holding on over here. I was still kinda tired.

"How about Mommy come along too?" David added without looking at me. I was surprised by his indirect invite and Kenny....well she was always excited.

"Is that the little birdie?" That was Candice entering the balcony. She fixed the robe around her and my eyes caught a glimpse of the ring on her finger. David turned to show her the bird and she willingly touched it. "Definitely should take it to the vet" She added.

"Riley is gonna accompany me and Kenny to the vet" My body stiffened alittle as Candice looked over at me.

Why would he just throw that out there like that?

"The earlier the better it is for the little guy" Candice took the bird from David's hand. "I'll go find a box or something so it can have a comfort ride to the doctor"  With that she left the room and Kenny followed her.

"A father-daughter day would be great" I stood up but I didnt approach him.

"It is refreshing actually but I am looking to take my family out for the day. The bird just happened to push it along faster" He looked at me with smile before leaving me there on the balcony.
