Sorry I haven't posted. I've been trying to take time to myself and decompress and such.
I'm trying to relax and enjoy the summer until the stressful year starts again.
Let's just say... I've come to a new feeling of peace.
Long story short, I was given a talk by a family friend who has wanted to tell me this since I was five... I won't tell the details since that's for me to keep... and I want to hold onto that. She basically said I'm part of the one percent of the population with perfect left-brain, right-brain balance and even when I was younger I had something more to me other than just being shy.
I genuinely find it difficult to relate to others my age.
I'm not interested in lounging about in my bikini or socializing. I always feel so... bad for not being able to fit into everyone's norms...
But now, I realize. I don't have to.
I'm different, I've known this since the start.
But now, I'll embrace this.
