That hasn't ever happened before (until now) with my OCs. Or at least, none that I can remember. Wait, no, there's Nyx who is changed to "Noelle", but I haven't made a proper single reference of her new form, so I don't count it.
I certainly like this better. It feels much less cluttered and much less overwhelming with visual information that would make me not want to draw him.
Now I want to.
I limited the colours and accessories (even despite him being in the military, which would typically mean me drawing punches, or other military type tropes for clothing) a lot since his stripes would be a big challenge to draw in inking as is, so having a limited colour palette will make it more easy for the eye to comprehend. Especially with a cartoon.
Lately I've been digging the floof and cheeks and facial patterns in Sonic designs.
But yeah. Strypes is gonna stay a tiger. Specially he's a bengal, I believe is the strongest type. The other Gamma Squad (I might change the name, it's a bit cringe) members may have a species change. Originally I think Griffon was a Buffalo or something, and now he's a Bison since I got the species mixed up visually 😤😩🙃. But I'm really thinking about making their species more diverse, more interesting. The more bizarre creature on the team is probably Radar, the Bat Eared Fox.
I wanna add more wacky things. That way they can be more recognizable and visually interesting. Like, Neon is a coyote, and I'm kinda connected to that, but it doesn't really fit. It feels a bit shoehorned in. So she's number one on the list of who's most likely to get a species swap.
The team sounds so boring now 😂.
Got a tiger, a bison, a coyote, two wolves, a bat eared fox, a dingo (or an African Wild Dog, can't decide, but the latter doesnt really roll off the tongue), a literal leviathan or some s**t, an otter, and a rabbit.

Still got two many members I feel like ;-;. Now there's ten characters, there used to be twelve, but I trimmed it down since that's too many characters. But it's still too large of a team and I don't know who else to cut out ;-;. I'm so con extend to them and feel like they all have their own reason for being there.
