"What? We just got an advance notice? From who?"

"From Kaitou Spade, ma'am. But not only him, we also got advance notices from Kaitou Queen and the legendary Silver Heart too," the guard said, showing three advance notice cards on his hand.

The ash blonde hair women snatched the cards from the guard. She growled when she read the notes on the cards. But something grabbed her attention.

"It says that they will steal Joker from us," she repeated what the notes say.

"Yes."

Then, she chuckled. Oh how amusing it was for her. "How funny. They sent us advance notices to the thing that we didn't have anymore."

"Yes, ma'am."

The woman was mad because her precious subject experiment had escaped. But this, this Phantom Thieves that doesn't know what actually going on make it up to it.

She turned away and spoke "Try not to let them come in. We'll see if they are worth to be my experiment subjects or not," with that, she walked away.

The guard salute before take out his walkie talkies "Ma'am Matilda have given us permission. Prepare the front and middle roles."

It still dark, and there was no star. No moon also appeared that night, or morning.Maybe because the moon was covered by clouds, Joker don't know.

What he only want to know is how his small apprentice was doing.

'Is Hachi okay? Are he still crying over me? Does he already told Spade?'

The last thought hit him.

Hachi.

Oh my goodness, how an idiot he is.

He forgot he just can call Hachi to pick him up. That was super easy.

But there was one problem though. Joker looked at his clothes. He was still wearing his red suit, it seem that when he was transformed into a child his clothes must shrunk too. But he can't find his watch. He remember that he still had his watch on his wrist until the abduction. So that only mean that the watch must had taken away from him.

Joker went through his suit jacket's pocket and found his Image Gum and Balloon Gum were there, just like the last time he had. He also found his stack of cards.

'That's weird,' he thought 'Why do they just take away my watch but not my gums too? Are they looking down on me or something?' Joker rubbed his chin as he stares down on his cards.

He sighed. He knew he won't get an answer if he don't understand the situation he was in. Though Veronica do told him her reason, but for some reason, Joker could feel that her boss had a different reason.It was all started when the ash blonde hair woman told the mad scientist to use him for Plan X. What is Plan X anyway?

He need to ask Veronica.

Stuffing back his gums and cards inside his pocket, he quickly ran out from the room. As he was running at the hallway, he passed by his friend.

"Hi Suisei! Bye Suisei!"

His friend only stared at the running thief before shrugging and walked away.

As the silver hair boy was running with his tiny legs, many questions running inside his mind.

'The injection, the pills, what are those? What is Plan X? Why does the crazy scientist's boss wants me as the experiment?

Why does she look so sad?'

Joker stopped when the last questions passed him.

'Wait, why....?'

His eyes widen in realization.

He snapped his fingers. 'That's probably it. She—'

A woman's voice was screaming from somewhere nearby. Joker noticed it was coming from the living room.

The small kid ran again, this time toward the living room instead of Veronica's room.

He slammed the living room's door opened very hard, only to be greeted with Veronica's cry. But what shocked him the most was that small tiny figure that was standing on Vernon's palm.

"Ehhhhh? Why is Hyakkimaru's so small like a Lego doll?"
