Part 15 : Apple (Lamb)

He can't stop looking at her. That lady with dark grey hair and steel blue eyes. Her smile was still there, still stuck on her face. She doesn't seems tired with it.

And her smile was giving him the attention to continued staring at her.

No. He is not attracted to her, please. It just. The vibes around her that giving him.

She seems familiar yet not.

"So Dump," her voice snapped him out of his thought "Why are you here? Alone in a crowded place? A rich looking boy like you are bad people's target, ya'know? At least bring a friend."

"I did. Bunch of them. We just got separate."

"Hum~" she hummed "Better be careful tho. Lamb that far away from its flock easily be eaten by wolf."

Dump felt offended. Judging by her appearance and looks, he knew she is older few years than him. But he couldn't accept she was....was looking down on him. He knew it was dangerous, but there were lots of people around him. And he knows that his brother and friends will find him. Beside, he is not weak.

"I think the wolf should be careful. The big farm dog will always protect the lambs," he fought back "And one of the lambs might be the farm dog in disguise," his eyes narrowed at her.

She smirked, totally amused with latter. She knew she suppose to finish her thing as fast as she can, but there was nothing wrong having a small chat, right?

"And the wolf might will eat anything. Including," she stepped few inches closer to Dump's face, she have to bend a bit because he was short and she wears heels "the big, farm, dog. Especially when the wolf is hungry," she smiled and pulled herself away from him. She spun on her heels and waved by the back of her palm.

Dump watched she walking away. Somewhat, that lady, have that cold aura around her. It gave him chills, in not so good way.

Veronica stopped her track when she take few steps away from him. She looked at the latter by over her shoulder "Oh and Dump," she called him. He flinched and his gaze on her.

She smirked again "Wolf never alone."

She looked back at the front and walked away, leaving the latter alone. Her heels make a clicking sound but she doesn't care. Humming coming from her mouth as she bring herself to her wanted destination.

'Damn, we might be a good friends if you not smell like apple, rich boy,' she mentally sighed 'I hates apple.'

"Dump! There you are!" her ears caught someone called the purple hair boy she just talked earlier. She doesn't want to turn around so she take out a small square mirror and looked behind using it. People will just assumed she was checking herself out, which was a normal sight now days.

A boy with long straight blue hair with a blonde pigtails girl walked over to Dump. The blue boy look worried while the girl, looked very mad.

"Dump where have you been? We were worried!"

"Ah!" Dump felt guilty "Sorry..."

"Well you better be!" the girl growled "The day almost becoming worse with you suddenly disappeared and me got hit by some stranger!"

"Sorry?"

"Queen, that stranger doesn't hit you at all. He manage to dodge," the blue replied.

"So? If he did and I will not hesitate chop his fingers with my sword!"

Veronica sighed. That rich 'lamb' finally with his flock, huh? The scientist put back her mirror in her skirt pocket and walked away. A bit faster because she can feel there were more people following her soon.

Better go now, right?

'Be careful little lambs. Wolf is not the only predators in life.'
