After 2 months of struggle dick has finally got a foster father. And this foster father was none other than the billionaire Bruce Wayne of Gotham. He was sitting in a limo heading to the wayne manor after doing some final paperwork. Now he was officialy Bruce Wayne's ward. He clutched the lucky charm Nettie gave him. He misses his best friend. He didn't know what to do. "Master Richard, May I do something for you? You look sad."

Alfred, the family butler he was one of a kind,"Nothing Alfred but please call me Dick. I don't like being called Richrd. I am.. I don't know this is just too much-"Alfred raised an eyebrow at that."-I mean there was always so many people at the circus but now I am going to a lonely manor. I used to do everything with my best friend. From the last six years we have... had been doing everything together."

"Very well Master Dick, I can tell you by experience that you will heal but you have to let yourselves be healed otherwise your past grief will haunt you forever. You should focus on the present rather than the past."

He then opened the door for Dck. "We are here master Dick." Dick came out and turned to Alfred and hugged him," Thank you Alfred."

"It was no problem Mater Dick. If you need anything tell me."

"Ok Alfred."

He went inside. The manor was huge. It looked so old. Alfred guided him to his new room.

It was strange. He never had his own room. It felt so weird. He started arranging everything in his room. He had the charm around his neck it was the only thing giving him strength. Then he arranged his old photos. He had made an album of them. He reached for his favorite photo and put it in the photo frame. It was a photo of her latching on him as they practiced on trapeze for the first time.

He remembered the day crystal clear.

FLASHBACK

Today was their first day on trapeze. Sure it was very high but they were still using the safety net so they were safe but Nettie was sure she was going to fall. Dick rolled his eyes as she paced and rambled," What if I fell? No I am going to fall. There's no way I can make it. I am very clumsy. I will fall halfway through air and I will even drag you with me. Then we are both going to fall and crack our ribs and you are going to hate me. Everybody will think that I am pathetic and then they will kick me out of here. Then You will never talk to me and- oh my life is over."

He put a hand on her shoulder."It is going to be okay we are trained and ready for this.We will not break any ribs because we are not going to fall if you even tried I will catch you. Now let's get going."

"But-"

"uh huh, no buts today cupcake we are going to make it, I will never leave u because I love u, we all love u, we trust you and u should trust yourself too."

Then he led her to the trapeze. He went first she watched him as he extended his hand out to her after doing a few tricks. When they were in the air she latched on him gripping him like her life depended on him.(That was when his parents clicked the photo)

"Cupcake"He whispered. She looked up at him,"Do you trust me?"

She nodded."I trust u and now u should trust yourself too. You are made to fly. We will fly together."She smiled at his words.

A few minutes later they were doing tricks with the biggest smiles ever.

"I never want to leave you I love You."

"We love you too cupcake."

FLASHBACK END

He made his way to the dinner table. He had a simple conversation with Bruce then he went to bed. His thoughts drifting to Nettie once again. "I love you Nettie and one day we will meet again."

Slowly he fell asleep with the thoughts 'I WILL FIND U CUPCAKE'

TAdadaaaaa! guys thanku for the votes the more u vote the faster the updates will be. So I think this story is going to end up as Dickinette just like u want but actually we are pretty far from that yet. So u can still comment which ship should be romantic here and which should be platonic ship. 

I will keep u updated. 

And the love they talk about now is totally platonic. I mean they are like 6-7 in that flashback so I haven't yet chose the ship

The people who haven't read my daminette book 'The Beauty and The Bird' then read it and tell me what am I doing wrong in that story?? I seriously don't know. Help me writers and readers.
