"Danny! You've made it!" Stacey went in for a hug after he hugged Emma, "I haven't seen you in so long. How have you been?"

"Yeah, have you been working out lately?" Emma was checking out his muscular structure, they used to be gym buddies.

They were at the buffet place, located on the floor of one of the oldest yet beautiful buildings filled with a rich history. Just a few minutes after they arrived, Danny made an appearance just in time.

"Nice to see you, girls, again." Danny chuckled with his hoarse voice. He had a buzzcut and a helix piercing to his left ear.

Jenni kissed him on the cheeks and went in for a warm cuddle. "Hey, back off from my man. I haven't seen him in forever." She looked up at him in puppy dog eyes. Jenni was only joking when she said that, Danny was like a brother to the girls.

"I'm Danny." He greeted Fredrick whom he exchanged handshakes with, "and you must be Nicholas."

Nicholas also went in for a handshake, "Yes I am. Nice to meet you."

The guys seemed to be getting along so far from their first impressions of each other. The girls exchanged funny looks with each other, they never felt so happy in their life. A realization hit them that this was probably their first official triple date.

"So you finally got that triple date you've been dreaming of." The mellow tone of Danny's whisper went into Jenni's ear. She was still holding Danny tight, she never wants to let him go. Call her clingy but with his busy work schedule, Jenni misses him a lot and so does he.

"Looks like it doesn't it?" She smiled, then kissed his lips before grabbing his hand and dragged him to the table of plates, "Now it's food time."

"They're so cute," Fredrick commented on their actions.

Emma took Fredrick's hand, "I agree but aren't we even cuter?" She flipped her hair and dragged him to get some plates as well.

"Look at those two couples." Stacey shook her head while crossing her arms, she just witnessed people being in love. Nicholas was standing beside her, he was so quiet and stiff. They probably looked like old married couples who had grown out of the honeymoon phase.

Nicholas broke the silence between them, "Are you hungry? We should go join them instead of standing here." They haven't seen each other in a while so things weren't as they used to be. He was trying to find back the comfort zone they had with each other. The first time they met, they've shown such interest and passion.

"Just a sec...I'm still surprised, what are you doing back so early? What happened?" Stacey questioned, she wasn't angry or anything. She was so happy to see him, but if his intention was to get an early answer by flying back before his appointed date of return. She wasn't going to give him an answer anytime soon.

Nicholas was caught off guard but her question, "Can't I surprise you with an early visit?" That wasn't the only reason why he came back so early.

"Yes...but..." That unfinished talk was still bothering her, she couldn't get it out of her mind. It's like a mountain growing between them.

Nicholas took her hand off her face, "Hiding your eyes with your hand doesn't mean I can't see you." He jokingly shot a chuckle at her cuteness.

"I know, I just don't want to feel any more embarrassed while looking at you." She turned her face downwards. Nicholas went in for a hug, she needed it.

"If it's about that trip...we don't have to discuss it now. That's for later." He muttered above her head, he was holding her closely and swaying slowly.
