Night Souls

Risky Business Pt.1

"Sorry sir, it won't happen again." He apologized before looking down at his soggy socks and wiggled his toes.

Stacey was trying to hide her joy fest inside after the number they've just pulled, "I'm also sorry about your shoes, Mr. Octar." 

Apparently, Nicholas and Stacey broke the rules of displaying their underwear in a public setting. At least, that's what they thought. Their clothes were dripping of water and they had no shoes on, only socks, moist socks. 

What happened had a good explanation behind it, but it grants no excuse for the 'crimes' they had committed together. 

It all led back to last night's buffet dinner. Everyone was seated, food and drinks were out. It was like a feast. 

Emma got up from her chair, "Oh guys! Let's get a picture together." She took her phone out and set it on the opposite side of where they were sitting.

"You read my mind!" Jenni was so excited to get their picture taken. It's so they can remember their first-ever triple date, something she can now cross off her bucket list."

"Say cheese."

"Wait! Shouldn't we get one with this spectacular view?" Jenni pointed out at the dark mystic sky but was lit up with the colourful city lights. It was a full moon out and stars were visible in the clear sky.

Everyone agreed but they couldn't find a place to set the phone so they asked a nearby attendant. They took some photos where they were all standing, then there was one where they were all sitting then some silly ones.

"Hey everyone what's up? Say hi!" Jenni panned her camera phone across the room. Everyone smiled and waved while enjoying their dinner.

At the end of the video, Jenni can be seen planting a goodbye kiss but it was on Danny and not the camera.

"Nicholas, you mentioned something about your friend earlier. Do you know the owner of this fine dining?" Stacey was amazed when he nods his head at her question.

"Something like that."

His reply caught Fredrick's attention, "One of the many reasons why he came back earlier than we expected."

"What do you mean?" Stacey grew in curiosity by his declaration.

Fredrick explained what Nicholas' first intentions were when coming back to the city earlier that day. "That week he wasn't supposed to come and visit his old pals, it was supposed to be the next month."

"Plans changed and I thought you guys were happy to see me." Nicholas shot daggers out of his eyes at him.

Fredrick nervously laughed, "We only spent a day together before you left. You even left the club early, saying you were too drunk to party?"

"Now I wonder what type of drunks you guys are," Stacey popped a melon ball in her mouth, she was actively listening of the boys' conversation. Emma and she giggled quietly as they discovered new things about them.

Jenni joined in the discussion after coming back from the bathroom with Danny. "Haha, if you guys were to be around drunk, Stacey. Keep your pants on." She whispered the last part to them, covering the side of her mouth before taking a seat.

"Now I'm intrigued." Nicholas laid back on the chair with his arms crossed.

Emma decided to give them a little hint, "Let's just say drunk Stacey likes to play games." She air quoted the last two words.

The guys made 'ooh' sounds at the little information Emma had shared within the circle.

"Woah, Woah, Woah." Stacey tried to back the attention off of her, "Did you say he left the 'club'?"
