"What are you saying?"
The envelope that was handed to her, it was exactly what Nicholas had described earlier. She slipped it inside her purse.
"If you change your mind, whether to come with me or not." He placed his hand on hers, "It doesn't have to be right away, so you come to visit anytime you want."
It didn't give any closure to Stacey, a question mark was still left under their relationship.
"Then where does it leave us?"
Nicholas took one of the shots and handed it to her, "That's for Sunday to know."
"Okay...thanks." She took the glass as he got the other one.
"Cheers to the fun we're going to have tonight!" He clings his glass towards hers.
"Bring it!" They both dumped the liquor in their mouth.
Stacey gagged to the taste her tongue had experienced and so did Nicholas, "You're not much of a drinker are you?"
She shook her head, he wasn't much of a drinker as well. They took off from the bar and joined Fredrick and Emma who were shaking their booties at the dance floor.
"Hey, Danny! Join us." Fredrick yelled out from the side. Everyone was dancing, even Jenni. Danny was the only who was sitting it out.
"He's not going to dance, he thinks it's too sweaty." Jenni was the only one dancing alone while holding a drink in her hand.
Danny slumped down in a sigh, "But it is!"
"Danny! Have some fun! Your girl needs a partner." Nicholas gestured for him to join them and have fun.
"Dance before someone dances with Jenni!" Stacey then whispers something in Nicholas' ears before whispering something to Fredrick as well.
Danny was still contemplating whether it was a good idea to get on the dance floor or not. He enjoys dancing, but the dance floor was compacted and he doesn't want anyone's sweat on him.
He just witnessed Jenni being surrounded by two dancing monkeys, that was Stacey's plan. She had Fredrick and Nicholas to dance with her while she and Emma were on the out ring of the circle. They were teasing Danny, trying to get his butt off the chair and into the dance floor.
"Come on lad, what's wrong with a little sweat?" Fredrick bumped hips with Jenni then back at Emma who was also next to him.
Emma threw her hands in the air, "The boys are going wild!"
"Danny, last chance before we eat!" Jenni isn't going take no as an answer, she would drag him up here if she has to.
"Ugh, fine. Just this once." He gulped down his drink before headed up the dance floor, "Move away boys, the dancing king is here."
Jenni was amazed by his energy tonight, "So much confidence, see what dancing does to you." She giggles while he twirls her around.
He grabbed her hands then start moving on his toes, swept her off the floor with a little twist of tango movement and did the cha-cha-cha.
"That guy got moves." Fredrick and Nicholas were boogying down with Emma and Stacey.
"Yeah, maybe it was better when he wasn't dancing." Nicholas chuckled, they got some competition except it didn't seem like it. Danny was outshining everyone in the club.
Stacey put her hands on Nicholas' face and then him towards her, the guys were drawn to Danny's moves than paying attention to the girls. "He is a hell of a good dancer, it's why he was being modest about joining us."
