Chapter3: Working late at the Sykes [Clumsy's shock]

"What are doing here?" i asked him. He was trying to get in our house but I was blocking him.

"Well, my mom and dad are out of town and John's sick and you know the rest." He told me looking up the stairs.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Amanda was already downstairs.

"What are you doing here?" he gave the question back to Amanda who was getting pissed.

"I asked you first." She exclaimed.

"And so?" Michael said.

"Get the hell out." Amanda said and pushing him away.

"I'm not here for you. I'm here for Carmen. So stop being bitter around me." Michael said and grinning. He left Amanda speechless. She stormed up to mu room and slammed the door.

"So as I was saying. John's sick and I..." he trailed off and continued "My parents asked me to ask yu if you could spend the night and babysit John while they were gone."

What being there with just you. It wasn't bad if I was with little John but the whole house with him, isn't a good idea for me. Although I need some extra cash for new clothes.

Michael's POV:

I knew how much she needed money. I know because i was asking people. I know she won't say no. I had a hard time making my parents go to their trip and ezpecially when John's sick. The poor kid. Nah. I'm just even using him a lullaby to make Carmen stay in our house not be with Jake. Eventhough his my bestfriend he makes me want to go jump on him and start punching him on the face. This is so not me. But this girl! She has these effects on me that I can't even understand and can't explain.

"Ok." finally she agreed. "I'll be there tomorrow." What! No!!!

"No! I need.. They need you to be there like now. John's sick remember?" I said. I hope she didn't hear the I.

Why does he keep saying I and changing it to Them/parents. "What tonight?" and he nodded and I can't let him stay with the little guy he might kill the poor thing.

"By the way if your parents are out of town like right now." I was getting confused and angry at the same time. "Where is John?"

"His inside my car." I look over his shoulder and there I saw John. Oh shoot the pooor thing didn't look good. "Are you and idiot?!" I yelled at him "Why would you leave him there?" such an idiot.

"What?" he shrugged.

"He'll DIE!!!" I ran to his car and thank god it was open. "Hey honey." I greeted John with a smile and put my hand on top of his forehead. "You're really hot." I whispered. I took out my phone and called my mom and dad, told them that I would be staying with the Sykes for a few days and drop by the house now and then until his parents hets home. I wasn't ging to leave the guy with his idiot of a brother.

"Well?" he said from behind me.

"Just wait here. Start up the car. I'll just go get my things." I walked to my house and started runnung up the stairs when my phone rang. I took out my pocket and saw that Jake was calling. "Hello?"

"Hey are you free tonight?" we had date awhile ago and he wants more. He even planted a so called Hickey on my neck and damn him for that. For making me feel like... well you know how it feels like.

"I'm going to babysit John for awhile." I said. I went inside my room seeing a dozzed off Amanda on my bed.

"Why?"

"His sick." i said, i took out a bag from my closet and started grabbing clothes that I need. "I can't leave him with his stupid brother." i zipped my bag and started to wake Amanda up and she opend my eyes. I told her where and why i was ging and she nodded and went back to her slumber.

"ok." Jake said. "If you need my help let me now. Ok?"

"Yes." Nodding my head, it felt right to nodd but I look so stupid thank God no one saw that.

I went out off the locking the door on my way out and went to Michael's car. I can tell he was waiting impatiently. I hated this idea. Spending nights with him. Alone. Ok not alone with his brother. But the kid's sick it's practically really... we were alone. With their big house.
