Truth Untold x Witch
i saw a beautiful flower blooming in loneliness
in that garden full of thorns, i saw you smiling
watering that flower with tears
red roses became blue
you sucked away it's sweetness, turned it into sourness
you took all of its love, replacing it with painful sadness
and even still, i wanted that flower
and when you asked me 'why?'
'because it deserves to be treated with care
even if that flower is not the same, i still want to shower it with love'
'why don't you shower me with love instead?'
i was silent, and you laughed bitterly
'it's because i'm the bad witch who cursed this beautiful flower.'
i only looked at you, because your words are true
i smiled
'don't smile at me.'
i stared at you.
'even if this flower is broken, you still want it, right?'
i was wondering if i still do.
'can i change my mind?' i asked.
'no. go and have this flower.'
she gave me the flower.
it's lonely, but i can see that she's lonelier.
'why don't you go and take that flower away?'
her voice cracked.
'o-okay...'
i walked away but hear her say
'can't show you me.. give you me...'
a week later, the flower became red again
i happily went to the garden to give it back to you
there are no thorns and the flowers are blooming happily
but in the place where we last saw each other
lies a broken mask.
the truth is, it's not the flower that is lonely.
it is you, who shared your loneliness in it.
