Asgore x reader

Normal POV

The underground was quiet, they were dismayed by loss of the king's children. The hope of being freed one day decaying. Each monster questioning their existence. Toriel locked herself in the ruins, not wanting anything to do with Asgore. Then Asgore locking himself in his kingdom, walking back into his children room than his wife's room. Gaster attended the king's duties, tried to get his kingdom to cheer up, but the monster wanted to see the king, not Gaster. None the less it was Gaster's current job and he had t fulfill it. 

Gaster was currently entering the castle, visiting Asgore to check up on him. Asgore was in his children's room, sitting on Asriel's bed, some old toy on his hand. "You need to get out of this castle. Your people need you right now."

Asgore shakes his head "I need my people." he whispers, this was a bit of a cry for help.

Gaster sighs closing the door behind him. "Asgore the humans in the outside world were the ones who killed your children. Did you hear me Asgore? H.U.M.A.N.S. We need to break the barrier! Let's make justice for your kids and our kingdom."

"Justice and vengeance aren't the same Asgore. I don't want to talk about the barrier right now." Asgore stands up, placing the toy on the bad. 

"This isn't about how you're feeling Asgore! Stop thinking of yourself one god damn day, and think about your kingdom!" Gaster stomps his foot in exasperation. 

Asgore stands straight, looking down at Gaster with an intimidating glare, a bit of dissapointment stand sorrow still in them. "I said. I. Don't. Want. To. Talk. About. The. Barrier. Right now." his voice boomed in the small room. 

Gaster coward away from him then regaining his posture and leaving the room. 'Such selfishness will be the end to us all. I must take action.'

Your POV

Everybody placed their votes down already and Mia was counting them. "We have a tie" she says standing. "The tie breaker will be the one to get the most votes during dinner." everybody was jumpy about their own group. "(Y/n) and sans group" I sigh, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "And Papyrus and Nicole's group" my breath hitched. 

'After what sans told me I can't win, it makes him happy.'  I mentally beat myself. I look over at them who look happy to be challenged. 'Well they'll want a real challenge!.' I mentally high five.

"But before anything, we have the meditation." Mia completed sitting back down on the floor. 

"Dude there are adapters in the back room, we can probably connect the audio of the mp3 to the tv somehow." Victoria says standing up "Imma go get the some stuffed animals to cuddle." walking out of the cell

Then Raven and Kaylah went after to get other materials needed, like the tv and mp3. Everybody else chatted. Finally coming back with everything and coming up with a way to connect the audio a soft hum of music escaped the tv. Such relaxing sounds like wind going through trees and other nature sounds with some soft lofi in the background. Everybody was quiet, some sitting with their eyes closed, others laying down on their backs staring at the ceiling in deep thought. 

I laid down and looked at the black ceiling. As I began to relax my mind began to race, negative emotions deep inside becoming more visible. Why were we doing this? My soul is breaking, slowly becoming corrupt. My hope along with everybody else's hope to get out of here has vanished. It seems almost all of us have accepted the fact that we are going to die after this why aren't we doing anything about it. 

I hear quiet snores from around me, I sit up my mind re-adjusting to my surroundings. The music had stopped, the tv was only making white noise. I look over to everyone, Victoria was cuddling her biggest stuffed animal, Mia huddled behind her with another stuffed animal. Kaylah was sleeping on her side and Daniel was in front of her facing her, both holding matching stuffed animals. Papyrus was asleep in a sitting position, resting his head on top of Raven's head, both of them huddled together. Nicole was sleeping on her side, Sans who was behind her, had a hand thrown over her, he was the one snoring. 

A bit of happiness stabbing at my heart as I look all around the room, whatever happens, will happen. But we're gonna get out of this together. I stretch and lay on my side, closing my eyes and letting sleep take over me.

Hey guys, I know, I know. I updated late, AND its a short chapter. 

I just want to let ya'll know my schedule has been changed because of summer classes, I attend two classes one that is from 9am-3pm. 

EXPECT LATE UPDATES, like today. That I'm updating late doesn't mean I wont upload at all.
