Her head was spinning. Though the poker face was still on, if someone looked closely they could see beads of sweat and eyes of pain on the princess's face.
Yeah, she knew that her behavior was very ill mannered. And could sense that Don was upset too. But.....
I don't have any regrets for it.
Her head was replaying every single memory she had of Eleanor and if someone, anyone, who too had the same distorted memories of two people
like her, would understand how much pain and miserable Eleanor's memories were. So much more than Rael's.And somehow, Eleanor felt a strange feeling to avenge it. Maybe that's why, she had never been able to consider the imperial family as her own family.
"Princess, never do something like that again." Don bursted at Rael as soon as they were on the Princess's room.
Don never hoped or even imagined, that a day like this would come when he would side over the Royals against the Princess. He didn't want to, but this was too much.
Meanwhile, Rael kept on walking, her headache increasing more with the nagging. The memories kept on playing and playing all the brutal parts, making her head pain in agony too.
"What did I teach you to grow up like this? Huh, princess what you did...."
Don's voice shattered off, as he saw Princess Eleanor fall down on the ground right in front of her.
"Princess! Princess! What's wrong?? Wake up!!" Don kneeled down and picked up the princess.
"Anyone!!Help!!!!!!!!!"
Don's voice boomed in the grounds of the west palace.
************
The Emperor was in a foul mood. He was rudely signing off documents, making the prime minister tensed at the same time.
*Knock* *knock* someone knocked on the door. Without waiting for an answer the door opened and a jet black haired girl entered the room smiling innocently.
The Prime Minister along with the Emperor frowned at her. Where are her manners? They wondered at the same time.
"Papa, I wanted to play with you." Angelina looked at the Emperor adoringly, only giving him more creeps from her.
"I told you, stay in the room and don't come out until I asked you to." The Emperor said coldly.
"But I wanted to see you." Angelina blushed happily.
What is she blushing about?
The prime minister, Ronald Tasek, frowned some more. He knew that the Emperor was insane about Princess Eleanor, so probably Angelina's charms won't work on him, but he wasn't sure for how long.
"Princess Angelina, you are talking to the Emperor not your father right now. There are something called manners in the society. Learn some from Princess Eleanor."
Angelina's face twitched at her name but just kept quiet and listened to the nagging, knowing clearly that she had crossed the line. On top of that, the glare and criticism she was getting from the Emperor were too embarrassing for her to continue.
Just then, another person bursted into the room unannounced. The Emperor looked up, angry, but stopped when he saw it was Monte. Monte isn't the type of person you'd expect to show disrespect carelessly, so every time he would do that, it could only mean that something urgent happened.
And when he saw his son's face clearly,
his head started to make wild assumptions. Monte was covered in sweat and terror was visible on his eyes."Father...." and tears started flowing down his face, making the Emperor's eyes widened and then, to his surprise, his worst fears came true.
"Eleanor.... Eleanor, she is not well. She fainted right after the breakfast and won't wake up regardless of how many times we call her," the Emperor flinched up hearing Monte speak," what should we do father? What should we do? Will she too never wake up again??"
Monte started crying uncontrollably, making the people present out there, in a awkward position. I mean, Monte isn't the type to cry over anything, so if he is ready to cry now, it must mean that person means a lot to him.
"Ronald, take Angelina to her room." And without any further instructions, the Emperor swapped, yeah, swapped his eight year old son on his arms and ran off to the now famous west palace.
All Ronald could do was stare after them, wondering since when the Royals had become so like that? Remembering that he had to drop off princess Angelina, he turned to speak to her but her face giving away everything, made him stop on his way.
Angelina was quite angry and jealous of Princess Eleanor, that was for sure. She had stole all the love and support that Angelina deserved, making her as furious as ever.
" Princess, let me escort you back to your chambers."
"Of course, Prime Minister."
Both smiled fakely at each other.
