It starts getting exciting here, I think. :P

Chapter 4

Two months have passed and I've been doing great with my 'job.' Jaylen and Brent are my regulars, and there are lots of guys who come and go. I have huge stash of money, and I know that I can afford a decent apartment, so I call Liam for the first time in months.

                "What?" He says, pissed.

                "Hey, let's go apartment hunting. I-"I get cut off.

                "Skye, I'm sick of this bull crap. I thought we were friends, but you always blow me off and only call me when you want something. I'm sick of wasting my nights thinking about if you are okay and what you need. It's been years; I've been going through so much crap and you couldn't care less. If it wasn't for me, you'd be DEAD. Have a nice life and you might as well be dead to me." He spat out.

                "What the F - " He hung up before I could finish. I feel like I'm broken. I want to start screaming but I remember I have to be quiet in the forest. Nobody can know I'm living here. Instead of screaming, I puke. Then I puke again. I've been feeling under the weather for a while now and this isn't helping.

                I call Jaylen and tell him what happened. I go over to his house and he knows that something's wrong with me. He tells me I can crash at his house for as long as I need to because I obviously wasn't fit to live in the forest anymore. I fall asleep, but wake up early in the morning with a wave of nausea. I run to the bathroom, and start puking until I feel like passing out again. Jaylen runs into the bathroom looking exhausted; bags under his eyes and messy hair. He yawns and takes a seat beside me and holds my hand as I continue puking.

                "Skye, something's wrong with you. You've been sick for weeks. Is there something you know that I don't?"

                I look down at my swollen feet and I know what's wrong with me right then and there.
