Y/n POV Tonight is the night that I comeback from the dead. When I came back to the states I called Derek and told him that I wanted to perform at the Grammys and release a new song on that same day. Derek agreed with my plan and made arrangements to produce the new song. No one knows that I've been doing this. I've been avoiding the public pretty good. My parents know I'm back and safe. I've gained weight back and got back into shape. I'm getting better. It's true that some days I'm having a hard time dealing with the Kendall situation because she's been on the news a lot. But I'm okay.
General POV Right now Y/n is sitting in a chair in his apartment while his stylist, Tony, does his hair. Derek is sitting on the couch making some calls so they have everything set up for tonight. Y/n is on his phone watching some cartoons. Cartoons always help Y/n to take his nervousness away. It helps him staying distracted so he doesn't over think things like he usually does.
Tony: And done! How do you like your hair? (A/n: Your not Zayn but his hairstyle is what your hair looks like)

Y/n looks at his hair. He's impressed he's never had his hair styled like that.
Y/n: I love it! Dude it looks awesome. Thank you.
Y/n pulled Tony into a hug thanking him.
Tony: No problem. You gonna get all the attention tonight.
Y/n laughed at Tony's comment but deep down he was scared. What were people gonna think of him? Tony left Y/n's place with all his equipment. Since the staples stadium where the Grammy's is gonna be held is 45 minutes away Y/n should be getting ready now. Y/n went into his bedroom picking up the suit that he is gonna wear tonight. He dresses him self putting on his watch and a spritz of cologne.

He looked at himself in the mirror straightening out his tie. He felt a rush of confidence he looked good and he knew it. He took one last look over giving himself a thumbs up. He grabbed his wallet and phone putting it in his suit jacket pocket. He then grabbed his shoes putting them on. After he was done getting completely dressed he left his bedroom to see Derek in the kitchen eating some left over pizza.
