Fly with me I wanna touch the clouds
I wanna feel the thin air above
Dance with me in the heaven at night
Where the stars serve as our backdrop

I'm happy when I look forward to something, and it can be anything, a walk in the park, a trip to the library, or even shopping. My life in solitude has always been calm and composed and new things are something that changes the course of what I am used to. Today is a day that I look forward to, I don't know why, maybe it's because I get to show a literary analysis that I have prepared. I always loved showing my work to everybody, and them being amazed by my brilliance.

"You're up early, Lunie," my brother said, this may be a tad new for him because I'm a heavy sleeper and he usually wakes me up at 8am because my classes usually begin at 10am. It's just 5:28 and I just can't keep my excitement, I spent my evening writing my dissection of Madame Mortis and I am currently satisfied with how it turned out to be. I have my exams at 7am though so I need to prepare and so I went on with it and the clock shows 6:12. I waited for Sol to finish his preparations and we headed off to school.

As usual, Sol was speaking at the entirety of the ride while I listen and forget every detail of our conversation. We arrived at school at exactly 6:45am and Sol dropped me off at the entrance of the Institute of Natural Science and Technology. I went straight into the exam hall with my bag in hand, not caring for anyone, I already chatted Carmela and said to her that she should avoid any interaction with me, which she understood because my best friend seemingly always turns a blind eye and understands my idiosyncrasies.

"2 pi alpha"

"9.158"

"1.02 ×10²³"

Can these computations be a little more difficult, please? It's getting stale and boring.

"Okay, everyone, please pass your papers. You have successfully completed the midtetms. Good luck to everyone and may the best happen for you," the proctor said, and she left the room. I waited for 2 hours for that, I was sitting idly in my chair, we always had the option of going out after we're finished, but I'm not in the mood to go out, I wanna enjoy my peace and quiet in here and it led to me simply reading some books.

I went out the room and chatted Carmela to finally meet with me, we met at the student lounge of our institute and as usual, she's as noisy as ever. I love Carmela even though she can be over the top and noisy sometimes. "Lunch tayo sa Cafeteria ngayon, Luna," she said out of nowhere. I just simply nodded, I didn't mind where we would eat, I don't have the ounce of attention to understand those minor things.

"Hi, ikaw po ba si Miss Selena? Luna Selena Del M. Del Pilar?"

Great. What do I have to deal with again? I really don't have the energy for this. I simply nodded in response to her question.

"I'm Stella Maris La Rosa, a feature writer from our publication, The Summitian Truth Seeker. We would like to feature you in our article because of your outstanding academic performance which transcends those in LSU's history," she said without any hesitation. This can be great, imagine, an article about me, my skills and my greatness.

"Sure, I'd love to help you, Miss Stella, we will be doing the interview after the Intercollege Quiz Bee," she cheerfully said. "You're gonna help me, Noctis," she said as a I saw this familiar man walking towards her.

"Kilala mo siya, Noc?"

"Gf ko 'yan"

I was in awe of what he said. Noctis was always a quiet person ever since I met him, well because he's Sol's friend, I never knew he had it in him. "Ohh, o sige, Noctis and Stella, I have to leave na, may aasikasuhin pa ako. See you next week," I calmy said in order to dismiss them. Carmela was quiet throughout that exchange, which is quite strange for her, I never knew she has a quiet side.
