Though we despise those who hurt us
We run for them sometimes in foolishness
And we take their words never for granted
But let them live on every walk we take_
"What do you mean, Lunie? Hindi ko maintindihan." Sol has a hint of sadness in his tone, I wonder what happened. "S-Sol, I'm s-sorry. Lumi knows about our birthday. 'Yung c-cake kasi sa ref," I said while I was still in tears, I can't help it. "Hush now, Lunie. That's okay, we can finally let the others know, ha. We will never celebrate it alone," Sol cheerfully said. "Okay." I can finally calm down for a while. "Hey, is Lumi there?" He asked me. "Yeah, nandito siya. That reminds me, can I borrow some of your clothes, he's gonna stay here for the night." Good thing I thought of borrowing clothes, huh? "Sure, it's okay." I nodded at Lumi after Sol said the go signal. "Oh, Lunie. I called because our airplane is already fixed, I'll be arriving at Clark at around 7am. You can pick me up and we'll spend the day together." Sol seemed excited, but you can still feel a hint of sadness in his demeanors. "Okay, Hel. See you," I said to him in a caring voice. "See you, too, Lunie. Good night." He hanged up the call immediately after bidding good night.
"Sinabi ni Sol that his plane will arrive at 7am. Susunduin ko siya," I said towards Lumi. "Samahan na kita. You don't know how to drive, e. Ang tapang mo na you'll pick him up, but usually we pick him up." Lumi chuckled after saying those. "Okay, Lumiere Shayne, hanggang doon na lang," I said with an annoyed tone. "I should really teach you how to drive sometimes," he mischievously said to me. "Inaasar mo lang niyan ako, Lumi." I rolled my eyes at his remarks. "Okay, sorry, moonlight." He then kissed my cheeks. "Ikaw, ha. Napapansin ko, abusado ka sa halik," I said to him in a more annoyed tone. "Oh, my moonlight doesn't like kisses?" He said to me confidently, it's fun seeing this side of him. I kept silent, I'm speechless on what he said. "Checkmate, Luna Selena Buenavista," he said in a confident tone. "Woah, Buenavista agad? Sino bang nagsabing ganiyan pipiliin ko if ever kinasal tayo?" Yeah, I'd keep the Del Pilar. "Okay, Madame Del Pilar-Buenavista, happy?" He then caressed my hair. "Okay." I don't know what to say. "Oh, that reminds me, Luna. I haven't greeted you yet." He went closer to me. "Belated happy birthday, moonlight," he said in a husky voice and he kissed me. "Ikaw, Buenavista, ha. May pa-husky husky ka pa diyan, e takot ka lang mag-order sa Jollibee." I pulled some of his hair. "Sorry na, Luna," he shifted to a more childish register. We laughed at the way we acted.
After joking around with Lumi, I took my shower and did my preparations, as well as him. After taking our shower, we lied down together. "Sleep tight, moonlight. I love you." He kissed my forehead and he hugged me. I observed Lumi's face, his eyebags are now more prominent, he's so sleep-deprived because of his writings, his hair is as messy as ever. Even though his eyes ate closed, you can see the kindness in them, because Lumi is really a kind person, there's no denial to that, but I can't help to think that I don't really love this man. All he has done is shower me love and affection, but I only gave him tiredness and pain. I'm sorry, Lumi. When I remember earlier, him visualizing our marriage, I can't help but feel sad, he's so sure about me while here I am, wondering if I really love him. I really think that I need to reconsider.
For now, let me enjoy my slumber, with my prince by my side.
My alarm clock rang at exactly 4:30 and it woke me up. To my surprise, I woke up without Lumi by my side. I brushed my teeth and did some basic preparations and I went down. He was already downstairs, preparing breakfast. "Good morning, Luna. Kain ka muna," he said with a caring tone. "At sinong nagsabing pakialaman mo ang pantry, Lumiere Shayne Buenavista?" Mornings aren't really my thing. "Sorry, Luna." He just went on with his cooking.
"Here's coffee for my moonlight, creamy, the way she likes it, and some sinangag and bacon." He then placed the plates at the table. I ate the food that he gave me, and I'm impressed, Lumi's really impressive, huh? He can even cook. "This is great, Lumi." I continued on eating.
