A few hours later I looked up at the clock nervously. 4:56 pm. Four minutes until work is over. Finally. I drummed my fingers on my desk, bored out of my mind.

I had been sitting here for over an hour, doing absolutely nothing. Mr. Kim recently told me a few hours ago that I was not expected to do my previous job now that I was his secretary. I had to sit here and do whatever he wanted me to. Whether that be work related or not. And that made me very, very, nervous. The clock struck 5 and the intercom rang right on time.

"Sir?" I asked as I grabbed my purse.

              "Come here." He ordered.

Letting out a sigh I stood and walked into the office. Mr. Kim was calmly standing behind his desk, looking out the window. I walked around to the edge of the desk and waited. Mr. Kim didn't notice me and continued to stare out the window, solemnly. He blinked and a tear slowly slid down his cheek, landing on the carpet below him. Confused, I stared at the line the tear made on his cheek.

I cleared my throat and he looked over at me, blinking. His normal stone cold expression returned as he smiled grimly at me.

"Let's go." He ordered, grabbing his phone and keys sitting on the desk.

I quickly retrieved his coat and helped him put it on. He grabbed my arm and led me outside of the office.

Everyone was packing up once Mr. Kim and I reached them. He let go of my arm and clapped his hands loudly to get their attention.

"I would appreciate it if everyone here met Ms Y/N and I at the Blacklist bar as soon as you can." Mr. Kim announced, paused as the workers murmured and he quickly interrupted, "I know it's expensive so I'm paying."

The workers erupted in happy cheers and as I glanced over at Mr. Kim, I saw him smile. Not his normal flirtatious smile though, a genuinely, happy smile. I found myself smiling as I watched him. Suddenly he looked over at me. Our eyes connected and my heart skipped a beat. He gently placed my hand under his arm and led me out of the office building.

We had walked all the way out to the parking lot before I snapped out of my daze.

"Sir," I began, "Where are we going?" I tried to pull my arm away but he held onto it tightly.
We reached an expensive car before he replied.
"We are going to the Blacklist of course. And we are driving together." He simply said.

I began to protest but was cut off. He pressed a finger to my lips and shook his head before unlocking and opening the passenger car door. I glared at Mr. Kim, but hopped into the seat and closed the door behind me.

Mr. Kim walked around to the other side of the car and hopped in as well. He started the car and we drove off. I glanced over at Mr. Kim who was staring straight forward. I let out a small angry sigh, rested my chin on my hand, and looked out the window.

We sat in silence for a while before he spoke up, "How long have you worked at the office, Ms Y/N?"

"Why." I replied, still focused on the buildings flying by.

"Because I want to be nice." Mr. Kim retorted.

                I rolled my eyes, "Right."

Silence filled the car once more. Mr. Kim then let out an exasperated sigh before saying, "Whatever I did to upset you, Ms Y/N, I apologize for."

I tore my eyes from the window to find him looking at me. He held my gaze until a car honked. Mr. Kim jumped and looked behind him at the car. The car slowly pulled up and the driver flipped him off.

Mr. Kim looked at me and then back at him before rolling his window down. The opposite driver rolled his down as well.

"HEY." Mr. Kim yelled, "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR? IT WAS A RED LIGHT YOU DUMBASS."

I gasped and reached over Mr. Kim to roll up the window. He hit my hand away and I scoffed.

"Mr. Kim! Roll up the window!" I exclaimed but he just ignored me and kept yelling at the guy.

"I WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE, YOU DIDN'T NEED TO HONK YOU ASS HOLE."

Suddenly the guy jumped out of the car and started towards us.

"MR. KIM!" I screeched at him. Mr. Kim's eyes widened and he stepped on the gas, driving away.

Once we had reached the bar, Mr. Kim pulled over and parked. We were both panting and he looked over at me wide eyed. I burst out laughing, throwing my head back and closing my eyes. Mr. Kim joined in chuckling and soon we were both dying of laughter.

"I'm sorry about that." Mr. Kim said after we had semi- calmed ourselves.

"It's ok," I replied, still giggling.

Wait- Am I actually enjoying myself? With Mr. Kim?!

I glanced over at him. He looked so relaxed, so… happy. I smiled and as we made eye contact again, he grinned and so did I. He jumped out of the car and ran over to my side to open my door for me. I slid out and he locked the door.

We entered the bar and found most of the employees there already. Mr. Kim welcomed them and we all sat down at our table. Lina found me and pulled me over to where our friends were. Mr. Kim sat at the other end of the table, glancing and smiling at me every so often.

The rest of the night flew by and I ended up having a wonderful time. Yes, even with Mr. Kim.
