I had been sitting there at my desk for what felt like hours. I looked back at the clock. 12:13 pm. IT HAD ONLY BEEN 13 MINUTES!? I groaned and layed my head down on the desk. I was starving but I didn't want to go out, just in case I ran into Mr. Kim and his lovely lady Jia. I sighed at the thought, the tears threatening to return. I don't know why this whole "Jia" thing bothered me so much. It's not like Taehyung and I were officially a couple or anything! I guess I just thought Taehyung was going to be like a fairytale prince, loyal, kind, all that jazz. Obviously, that's never going to happen.

RING! RING!

"Hello, Mr. Kim's office. How may I help you." I dully said.

"Hello?" A man's voice called through the phone.

"Hi." I replied, sitting up a little straighter in my chair, "How may I help you?"

"Oh! Yes, sorry!" The man quickly apologized, "I have an appointment with Mr. Kim at 1 today."

"Mhm..." I urged him on, nodding my head along with him.

"I um- I was just wondering if I could maybe- if I could come earlier?" He finally asked me.

"Sure hon." I replied, "You'll have to wait but sure, you can come early."

"I- um thank you. Goodbye now." He stammered before hanging up.

I shook my head and chuckled as I placed the phone back down. I opened my phone and began scrolling. A few minutes past and I felt the strange feeling of someone watching me. I looked up to find a man staring at me, his mouth slightly open. I tilted my head and slowly placed my phone down.
"May I help you?" I asked carefully.

He blinked and rubbed his neck.
"Sorry." He replied quietly, walking towards me, "I was the one who called earlier." He said sheepishly.

"Oh. Ooohh. That explains a lot."
I responded, stifling my laugh with my hand. The man chuckled, looking down at his feet before back at me.

"Yeah... I get that a lot."

I snorted at his comment before clearing my throat, "Sorry, that was rude of me."

He waved his hand at me and grinned, "Don't worry about it."

I glanced back up at him, finally taking in his appearance. He had long black hair that hung down in front of his dark brown eyes. He was wearing an all black suit, his black shirt unbuttoned slightly. All in all, he was actually quite attractive.

"I'm Y/N, Mr. Kim's secretary." I stood and held my hand out for him to shake.

"It's very wonderful to meet you Y/N. I'm Jungkook."
He replied, gently grabbing my hand and lifting it to his lips. He kissed it softly, never once breaking eyecontact. My eyes widened as he let go of my hand.

'What the hell?' I exclaimed in my mind, 'Is this the same guy I just talked to over the phone?'

Jungkook grinned as he checked his watch, flicking his hair out of his eyes.

"It's only 12:30. Have you ate yet?"
He asked, looking back up at me. I shook my head, my mouth probably still open a little, "Could I take you out for lunch Ms Y/N?"

"I- sure?" I replied, snapping out of my trance.

Jungkook smiled and offered his arm out to me, "Milady."
I snorted, shaking my head as I took his arm.

"You are one strange guy Mr. Jungkook." I told him as we walked over to elevator.

Jungkook grinned at me, "I know."

               •                 •                 •

I finally convinced Jungkook to take a cab with me, remembering what happened last time I drove with a guy.
He told me he knew a really good BBQ restaurant that served pretty quick.
We finally reached the restaurant and Jungkook helped me out of the cab.

"Trust me, this place is really great!" Jungkook reassured me once we ordered.

I smiled, my mind elsewhere. I bit my lip nervously as I pictured Taehyung and Jia sitting together somewhere, alone.

"Hey, are you ok?"

I looked up to find Jungkook staring worriedly at me. I nodded.

"Yeah..." I told him, thinking to myself. I glanced at him and he smiled.

"You sure?" He pressed, "You can talk to me if you want. I won't tell anyone."

I starting to shake my head but stopped. I opened my mouth, then closed it again.

"Well, it's just-" I breathed in deeply before going on, "There's this guy, and we have um... done things together but we aren't like a couple... yet."

Jungkook nodded, encouraging me on. I continued slowly.

"And I just found out that he and this girl are going out for lunch today and I think he's more than a friend to her..." I finished, gulping as Jungkook processed what I said.

"I see..." He replied, "Well, if I were you I wouldn't assume too much. This guy will tell you who she is when he's ready."

I nodded and Jungkook smiled, placing his hand on mine comfortingly. I smiled back, a warm feeling entering my chest.

"Thanks, Jungkook." I whispered as he flicked his hair quickly out of his eyes.

"Of course, Y/N." He replied, "That's what friends are for."

I grinned at him. Something flashed in the corner of my eye and I turned to look. I mouth fell open as I saw him, the one and only Kim Taehyung. Our eyes met and his narrowed as he looked over at Jungkook. I raised my head and began turning away defiantly but stopped when a stunning, and I mean STUNNING, young woman walked in behind Taehyung.
Her long blond hair was curled and flowed about her in a fairylike manner. She had the same light brown eyes as Taehyung that twinkled when they hit the light. She was wearing a tight black, spaghetti strapped dress and shorter black heels.

"Y/N?"

"Huh?" I turned to look at Jungkook.

"Your mouth was hanging open." He snorted, grinning at me.
I blushed and glanced back at them to see Taehyung pull out her chair and help her in it.

"Sorry." I growled out, "I got distracted."
