3. Second encounter

Another loud day in the class, with Hyewon and Yeonjun in the corner already eating snacks before class even began.

Yena and Han being loud and extra, followed by Hueningkai, Jeongin and Chenle's high pitched screams. Yuna and Yujin at the back, trying to discuss about their favorite bands.

It was a normal day for these bunch of 17 year olds. And Kai was back to his bright self.

"Alright settle down kids." Mrs. Im came in, followed by Wonyoung right behind her.

Soobin, the class president, made the class bow and they all sat down.

Hueningkai saw Wonyoung and immediately recognised her.

She looked around the room and her eyes then met his. He could feel his heart pounding the moment their eyes met.

While Wonyoung felt that she had seen him somewhere before, she recognized him, but not enough to guess that she met him 4 days before.

"We have a new student here, why don't you introduce yourself?" Mrs. Im gestured her to get closer.

Wonyoung bowed and said, "Hello everyone, my name is Jang Wonyoung. It's nice to meet you all."

Then everyone in the classe clapped, everyone but Kai. He somehow still couldn't process the fact that they were now classmates.

Wonyoung wasn't always a moody teenager like the past couple days have been. She was always very nice and respectful.

"Why don't you go sit over there? Beside Yujin." The teacher said and Yujin raised her hands.

Coincidentally, it was the seat right in front of Kai. He was lowkey excited but tried to play it cool.

There was something about this girl, that he really wanted to get close to her.

"Soobin, you will be in charge of showing her around, and Minju, you will also help her with any other questions and things she needs." Mrs. Im said.

Minju was the vice president of the class.

Class started, but Kai couldn't focus at all, how could he when Wonyoung was now sitting right in front of him.

Just her hair and back were enough to distract him.

The bell rang and he realized that throughout the period, all he thought about was if she recognized him, whether he should talk to her or not and so on..

'If I keep going on like this, what'll happen to my highschool year?' He thought.
