"Sooo" Wonyoung started, "how'd it go with Felix?"
"What do you mean?" Chaewon genuinely did not know.
"Don't kid with me Chaewon, I saw him asking for your number the other day." Wonyoung had a smirk on her face.
"Oh that, yeah we're cool. We texted a bit and decided to be friends." She just shrugged it off as they were walking down the hallway.
"Really? Cause I was beginning to start shipping you guys."
"Do you know how weird that would be? Imagine going on a date and doing couple stuff while people stare at us like we're doing illegal things."
Chaewon cringed at the idea while Wonyoung just laughed.
Then she saw Hueningkai and Yeonjun talking while walking a further from them in the opposite direction.
She dragged Chaewon towards them and tapped on Yeonjun's shoulders and said, "Can I just borrow him for one second?"
Before Yeonjun could even answer she grabbed Hueningkai's arm and dragged the confused boy away, leaving the other two confused as well.
"W-wait you're just leaving me here?!" Chaewon shouted. She wasn't too familiar with Yeonjun even though they were classmates.
"You two talk about..umm..mint chocolate! Yes, I heard you both like it so just talk about that!" Wonyoung shouted back while Kai just looked at her.
He felt sparks all over his body as she touched his arm and wanted the moment to last forever.
But it didn't as she let go of him after a few distance.
"Kai, I just wanted to apologize for being so rude yesterday by just leaving you and the others like that." She started.
But Hueningkai didn't say anything, and that made Wonyoung feel more anxious.
The reason he was silent wasn't because he was angry or anything, but he couldn't sleep properly the previous night because he kept thinking about her and the other guy.
'Who was he? Why did they seem so close? Is she already taken by another boy? Should I just give up?'
Those were the thoughts that kept him up.
So even he was feeling anxious and confused about whether he should ask her directly or not.
"I'm guessing you're really angry huh?" She looked down.
'No, no I'm not.' He wanted to say those words, but a part of him just wouldn't let him.
'Is it because I'm just jealous? Am I really that angry?' He asked himself.
But no, the reason was because he was so sad and afraid that she would tell him the reason she left them.
He was afraid that she would mention him as a boyfriend.
"I promise I'll make it up to you." Wonyoung looked up but did not see any reaction from Hueningkai.
The poor boy was just afraid she would mention about the other guy, but he also wanted to ask her about it.
She panicked a bit as she felt like she was losing the first friend she made in the school.
"Ok come on." she took him to a vending machine and bought two boxes grape juice.
She handed him one and said, "I'll tell you a family secret."
Hueningkai just stared at her with a puzzled face.
"My grandmother and mother drink this juice every two days and guess what," she signaled him to lean closer, "they're both physically stronger than my grandfather and father."
Her face showed that she was being completely serious and that it was a really big deal for her.
Hueningkai bursted out laughing at her cute story which she said with such a serious tone.
"Why are you laughing?" She asked as even she was cracking a smile, she was happy that he finally gave her a reaction.
Because he found her so cute, without even him knowing he suddenly softly pinched her left cheek and both of them just stopped.
After realizing it, he quickly put down his hand and she also cleared her throat.
"So am I forgiven?" She tried to ignore the small tension.
"You don't even need my forgiveness, you didn't do anything." He replied and Wonyoung was relieved to hear him being so nice.
"But thanks for the free drink, also I promise I'll keep your family secret." He joked.
"You better, or else my grandma might just be right outside your window." She joked around as well and like that, both of them felt comfortable with each other again.
.
Meanwhile~
Yeonjun cleared his throat, "So you like mint chocolate ice cream too?"
"Yeahhh, it's like the best flavor in the world." She was surprisingly very enthusiastic about it.
"I know right! It's like the best flavor ever."
With that they talked and talked and at the end both agreed that people who hate mint chocolate are just weak b!tches.
