Wonyoung kept staring at her phone.

19 missed calls from Jisungie

As much as she missed hearing his voice, she also had her own pride that wanted nothing more than to ignore him at the moment.

Her friends invited her to go to the mall.

At first it was just going to be Minju and her boyfriend Hyunjin. But the others thought it would be a good time to go outside, help Wonyoung heal and have fun.

The girl's hadn't really met any of Hyunjin's friends, who were from a different school, so they thought it would be a good opportunity to meet.

They've been dying to meet this 'Felix' guy who, in the words of Hyunjin and Jeongin, 'looked identically the same with Chaewon.'

She quickly got dressed and headed out, only to find Jisung standing right in front of her gate.

She tried turning around and running away. But had to stop when Jisung yelled her name.

"Wonyoung!" She stood there frozen, unable to take another step.

"Yah Jang Wonyoung, do you know how worried I've been? You didn't answer my calls, read my texts and I found out from my friends that you were transferring." He said as he quickly approached her.

Wonyoung still couldn't look at him in the eyes.

Jisung calmed down at the sight his then bestfriend, who had her head down not wanting to look at him.

"Look, Wonyoung-a" he started speaking in a softer tone, "I know it's awkward now being with me, but I really miss hanging out, you know?"

She gave him no reply.

'Why can't I just speak and tell him it's fine?' She thought to herself, 'this isn't like me at all.'

"I'm willing to give you some time, and if it's possible, I really want my bestfriend back.....but no pressure, I'll respect your decision, ok?"

He had such a soft spot for Wonyoung, he bent down to match her head that was looking down.

Wonyoung looked at him and right before she could answer, her friends arrived.

"I-I gotta go, my friends are here!" She said as she swiftly moved away and ran to stand beside Minju.

"Yoo Jisung, long time no see." Yuqi wrapped her hand around his neck.

"But we met yesterday, I was the thirdwheel on your date with Lucas. Remember?" Jisung looked down to mach her height.

"Yeah...right." Yuqi laughed.

The girls didn't hate Jisung or anything, they knew it wasn't his fault that he couldn't fall for Wonyoung.

Wonyoung quickly wrapped her arm around her friends and shouted, "Let's go, I'm getting hungry."

She desperately wanted to get out of there to avoid another awkward tension.

Jisung watched as she and her friends left, but Sakura stayed behind a little.

"Don't worry Jisung, Wonyoung's a strong girl, she cares about you too much to just cut you off forever."

She patted his back and left with the others.

'I hope that's true...'
