8. The triangle begins

"Let's invite Wonyoung along." Soobin suggested to his friends.

"Why? It's always just us and the girls." Yeonjun said, referring to their other friends Yuna, Ryujin and Yena.

While Hueningkai's ears were now listening attentively at the sound of her name, though he acted uninterested.

"As the class president, I think it would be nice if we could bring her along, help her make new friends."

"You sure you aren't having any other motives?" Taehyun started teasing him.

The boys knew exactly why he wanted to bring her along, it was because he had a Big. Fat. Crush on....her friend, Minju. And he was trying to win some scores by helping her.

The reason she was elected as vice president was only because the whole class knew how much Soobin liked her, so when he volunteered to be class president, the whole class voted Minju to be his partner, leaving her with no choice.

But little did they all know, she already had a boyfriend from another school, who was introduced to her by their classmate Jeongin.

"Yeah, isn't it because of little miss Kim Minj-" Yeonjun was holding back his laughter at the sight of his blushing friend.

"Stop it guys, I just want her to fit in..." Soobin said as he decided to play it cool.

"I'm fine with it."

"I'm fine with it."

Beomgyu and Kai looked at each other, normally both of would just say 'jinx' and laugh it off. But this was different.

Ever since Kai saw Beomgyu alone with Wonyoung the other day, he hasn't been the same with him.

A part of him was afraid that Beomgyu would suddenly tell him that he had developed a crush on her, which wouldn't surprise him cause in his eyes, she was just perfect and could make anyone fall for her. (A/N: The irony lol)

And another part was afraid that he would find out about his little crush.

For out of the five, Beomgyu was the most talkative one, even when he didn't do it intentionally.

His little crush might be the new topic of the whole school by the next day. So he wasn't really looking forward to that.

"What's with the sudden awkwardness?" Yeonjun said while looking at both of them.

Soobin clapped his hands and said, "Then it's settled, we bring Wonyoung along."

Yuna linked her arms with Wonyoung.

"I'm so glad you came! These guys can be a bit boring." She smiled.

"Ouch." They could hear Ryujin from the back.

"We can hear you know." Yena said as she and Beomgyu rushed to the gaming section.

Wonyoung still found it a bit hard to fit in, as she was with a bunch of strangers who were already friends.

She glanced at Hueningkai at the back who had his hands on his pockets.

She wanted to be next to him cause he was the one she felt the most comfortable with at the moment.

As Yuna followed Soobin to see what he was playing, Wonyoung took this opportunity and went behind to stand next to him.

This made Kai extremely surprised, to think that she actually approached him first when he was trying to come up with something to get close to her.

"Hi." She started off with a smile.

"Hi" he grinned widely, but still trying to contain his happiness, "you having fun?"

"Well, we just got here." She replied and they both chuckled, "but yeah, you all seem so much fun and nice, so I'm having a really good time." She answered honestly.

"By the way, I thought your friend Taehyun was coming as well, but I don't see him anywhere." She asked as she looked around.

"Oh yeah, he actually had some problems at home so.."

They both became silent.

"Hey listen..the other guys get really competitive when it comes to these things and we usually stay here for about 2 hours. So if you don't mind, wanna grab some ice cream somewhere?"

Hueningkai brought all the courage he had and asked her while scratching his neck.

"Sure, a little ice cream wouldn't hurt right?" Wonyoung replied which made him all relieved yet excited on the inside.

"Guys! We're gonna go get some ice cream alright?" He shouted with his voice cracking a little.

Wonyoung laughed out loud while covering her mouth, while Hueningkai's cheeks turned bright red.

"Ok, but don't go too far." Ryujin said while her eyes were still glued to the game she was playing.

"Get me some as well! I want mint chocolate!" Yeonjun yelled making people inside the arcade stare at them.

"That's funny, Chaewon also really likes mint choco-"

"Wonyoung?"

Wonyoung got interrupted and looked up to see who it was.

"Jisung?"
