Jisung couldn't believe what was in front of him. He knew how awkward Wonyoung could be with strangers, let alone the opposite gender.
Which was why she didn't have many friends at her previous school.
But here she was, standing next to a new guy whom she probably barely knew.
Meanwhile Hueningkai still couldn't process what was happening.
He was just about to have some alone time with his crush, making him all excited then this tall boy comes and interrupts.
He looked at Wonyoung, who also had confusion written on his face.
"Jisun-"
"So you replaced me huh?" It was clear that Jisung was hurt.
"No! no no no..look Jisung, let's go talk somewhere." She grabbed his hand and pulled him away, leaving Kai behind.
"Sorry Huening, I gotta talk to him for a minute." She said as quick as possible.
She wasn't trying to be rude or anything, fixing her problems with Jisung was her main priority at the moment.
Kai stood there in silence as he watched the two walk away. He too was very hurt by the sight he saw, not knowing what to.

Wonyoung and Jisung reached a quiet corner and stopped.
Jisung looked away, not wanting to meet her eyes. He didn't exactly feel jealous, but more like betrayed.
Wonyoung took a deep breath and started, "Jisung-ah.."
Her soft voice made him finally look at her.
"First of all, I just really want to apologize to you. I know I've been a jerk lately and.." she paused for a moment, "I was selfish and completely ignored how you would feel."
Jisung crossed his arms, "And?"
"And I immediately cut you off before you could say anything." She faced down and looked at the floor.
"And?" At this point, he had forgiven her already and was just teasing her.
"And um..I really missed you, as my bestfriend." She looked up to see Jisung smiling warmly at her.
This made her heart race, she didn't lie when she said she missed her bestfriend, but that did not mean she was completely over him.
But since she felt like she was losing him, she decided to put their friendship first.
"Oh look, we're right becide an ice cream store!" Jisung completely ignored her apology and rushed to the ice creams.
"Wait! Am I forgiven?" Wonyoung ran behind him.
"Nope. You have to buy me this first." He smirked and playfully stuck out his tongue.
Wonyoung's heart raced again, she was filled with relief as she thought she was being rejected again, but now as his bestfriend.
'Hueningkai' that name suddenly came to her mind as Jisung was busy picking a flavor.
"Crap, I just left him like that.." Wonyoung felt so guilty she grabbed her hair.
"I better make it up to him tomorrow." She said to herself.
"What?" Jisung looked back.
"No, nothing." Wonyoung faked a smile and went back to thinking how she would make it up to him.

Hueningkai tossed and turned on his bed. He just didn't know what to do anymore.
Was he just going to give up?
He saw how the two seemed close to one another, and how Wonyoung grabbed that stranger's hand kept replaying in his mind.
He made up different kinds of scenarios in his head.
But the one he believed the most is the one where the boy is her ex-boyfriend they're getting back together.
"NOOOOOO!" He shouted while sitting up straight and threw away one of his pillows.
"No that can't be that can't be. What if he's just a friend? Or a cousin?" He kept talking to himself.
"But why would he talk about replacing him if he was just a friend or a cousin." He fell back on his bed.
He took the dolphin plushie on his hand, "EnDolphin, you're my only hope, please tell me that it's not true." He hugged it tightly.
His older sister, Lea came his room, "Hey you alright? You've been shouting nonstop."
He threw another plushie at her and said, "Leave me alone."
Lea slowly closed the door and said, "Eh, must be puberty."
