"Where is he?" I looked up from my phone as Kats voice travelled down the hallway before she appeared, her eyes wide and a huge smile on her face.

"Right here Kat, what's so important that you couldn't tell me over phone?" I leant back on my bed as she stood and leant against my doorframe. My arms were locked behind my head and my ankles were crossed over each other.

"I saw him,"

"Saw who Kat?" I rolled my eyes at the blunt female as she then rolled her own.

"Sam stupid," in a blink of the eye I had pushed my body up my own eyes watching her closely.

"You saw Sam?" She nodded before stepping into my room and sitting on the grey L shaped sofa I have. An Eiffel Tower pillow was pulled onto her lap as soon as she made contact with the fluffy cushions beneath her. "How did you know it was him!"

"He was holding the book Colby," she pushed making my eyes widen even further.

"You mean?..." I trailed off begging her to respond quickly in my mind before I jumped to more conclusions.

"The story of night and day, your guys book." My jaw dropped at the new Information at the fact he has the one book that will help explain us, what he's feeling to him.

The book, is a book passed down from generation to generation, the book we are given as young kids usually before we go to the academy. Each element gets their own copy explaining their job and anything needed to know to said person about their lives. The couple elements get a shared book, Jake and Tara got on called through water and fire and Kat and Devyn got one called beneath nature and earth. It was the one thing that could fully tell us why and who we are connected to.

"Wait what?" I questioned again not believing clearly what she was saying.

"I said stupid, he was holding the damn book,"

"Yeah I heard you Kat," I smiled softly at her "just had a hard time believing it." I sighed a breath of relief before leaning back again. "That means he's ok,"

"He looked perfectly fine Colby, no seen mark on his body," Kat smiled leaning forwards with her elbows on her knees so she was now sandwiching the pillow between her legs and chest. "I know you were worried about that,"

"You know me too well Kat," I smiled at her shaking my head glancing out the window. "Did he-?"

"Did he mention you?" Kat finished making me nod slightly. "No he didn't Colby. He doesn't know who I am yet so didn't know I knew you."

"I mean it's a good thing he has the book right?" I sighed sadly making her nod.

"It means he'll learn about you, and hopefully realise the other half is about him. Hopefully that books tells him enough before he decides to come to you for extra help,"

"God I hope Sam understands it and accepts who he is, and me,"

"He won't refuse you Colby. Or this life style, trust me,"

"Ah there he is," Jake cheered as I stepped off the bottom step, my hands stuffed deeply into my joggers pockets. It had been a few hours since Kat told me about Sam, the sun was now setting slightly over the horizon making people disappear and flee inside.

"Here I am!" I cheered back shaking my head at the over excited silver haired male.

"We have good news Colby," Tara yelled wrapping her arms tightly around Jakes waist. "You can come with us on this earth trip,"

"Wait what?" I snapped my eyes down to the smaller female who was glancing at me with a soft smile on her face before nodding.

"You heard me right Colby," she confirmed "Sam was reported dead weren't he by his parents and there was something else in that little book Corey read. If an elements partner dies they are then granted the ability to go down to earth,"
