Chapter 9:

It is November 27, thanksgiving. we are all sitting at the table eating breakfast. My mom suddenly stood up and cleared her throat to get our attention. Clem put down a spoonful of scrambled egg down on her plate. Naomi had a huge piece of French toast in her mouth. Dad put his cup down and gave his full attention to mom. I continued to eat my food like nothin happened.

"Okay, today's thanksgiving and we are going to have guest over for dinner she said smiling."

"Do we know these people Clem asked curiously?"

"Why would ask that question, who would we know. We haven't been here for a full month Naomi said with a duh expression on her face."

"Well I was just asking a question, don't need to bite my head off Clem said defensively." Before they could start an argument mom and I glared at them to shut up.

"As I was saying u probably know their sons, I know the last names are Thunder, Moon, and Lupei. Never mind that you Will be on your Best behavior mom said sternly, leaving no room for an argument." I sign and rolled my eyes. I am so regret doing this. Where have I heard those surnames before.

"So here are the rules you will not engage in anyone fighting what so ever with the boys, you will not argue with them or put them in a death like state understood mom said smiling but behind that smile is a promise of death as she points her accusing eye on me." Truthfully, if a guy can't stand my glare then he isn't worth my time, but I nodded anyways.

"Oh, wear something nice, like a dress or skirt. Be ready by 6:30, they will be here at 7 pm she said making it sound as a suggestion, but really the hidden meaning is wear a dress or skirt or else."

This is going to be such a drag. I looked at my phone to see it say 9:30am. I have nine hours to kill or probably less to kill.

"Alright, this give us time to get some training in girls, so suit up and meet in the backyard dad said nonchalantly."

He walked upstairs to probably change then get down before us to set up our training.

We went upstairs to go change out of our pjs. I chose a black VSX sport tank top, and a black yoga pants. I put my hair in a ponytail. I went into my dresser and pulled out my black biker gloves that cut around my fingers. I took out my black ankle combat boots.

I walked downstairs and headed towards the back yard. We had a huge backyard with a medium size pool. I saw my dad across the yard. He was wearing a black sweat pants, grey t-shirt, and black Nike sneakers. I looked around noticing that nothing was setup.

I walked towards Dad and started to stretch out while waiting for my sisters. They finally arrived 5 mins later.

They had the same outfit on but the color of their tank top were different. Naomi's is a purple and Clem's is a dark blue.

"Alright, I want you girls to start run around the house including the pool 15 times. Ready, go Dad instructed."

By our 10 lap we started to get tired. Each time we go around we see Dad standing there with his arms folded in front of him. When we finished, we were breathing heavily and we could feel the sweat running down our face, at least I can.

"Give me 35 push-ups, sit-ups, and crunches Dad said strictly."

We don't make any sounds or talk during warmups since we are too tired to talk or make a sound and we find it a waste of air and we don't have time for that. We started our push-ups first and went in order from there. My body is starting to hurt after I finished.

"Next warmup go grab a tree branch and give me 30 pull-ups, if the branch breaks you will have to start over he said strictly."

I grabbed onto a branch and started to pull myself up. Basically, you have to find have to balance your body weight as you are pulling yourself up and down.
