GENERATION Z

CHAPTER NINE

Everyone was excited but because of corona they couldn't really do anything. 

After a while, everyone gave up on searching for things to do and the excitement wore off.

Danny shot up in the air, "I HAVE AN IDEA". Everyone looked at each other in confusion. "LET'S GO TO A BLM PROTEST" "WAIT WE SHOULD" said Kevin. Glen was already doing his research to see when the nearest blm protest is gonna be. "so apparently the next one is in two hours, St.Augustine." Everyone went up to their rooms to start getting ready.

~time skip~

Danny and Kevin were putting all the signs, masks, bottles of water, etc in the car trunk. Ava came out of her room and waited for everyone in the living room. Melanie was the last one to leave her room. she was scared because of what she had seen on the news. Glen immediately noticed something was off and comforted her saying that the news over exaggerated and lied. Ava played her "luv ya" playlist from spotify since she had the aux (real playlist btw you can listen to it if you want) and "philophobia" by Sunday cruise came on.

they got to the protest. there were tons of people with protection, and bottles of water. they were ready. the gang parked pretty far just in case things got messy, "we d wanna get the car damaged okay?? its brand new" said Danny. "yeah, and its yOuR BaBY" glen said in a mocking tone....flirting. 

they all got ready and went over to where the crowd was. as they got closer the could see and hear a black women yelling and crying. Melanie's heart broke as she listened to what the lady was saying. "i don't wanna raise my kids to be polite when some people will be treating them terribly! and just because of the color of their skin? that's pathetic. black lives matter. and no one can change that." people started to chant "black lives matter" over and over with their fists in the air and holding up their signs. 

the chanting went on for a bit but it immediately stopped when there was a very loud noise.its was glass breaking. some people started running. Danny and Kevin turned around right away to see what the noise was. it was looters. there was a bunch of them. people started running and fights were starting. it got messy real quick.

the police came in quickly and started attacking the protesters. meanwhile the looters were untouched. Kevin went to the store they were looting and started yelling to stop. this one dude came up and said "what are you gonna do about it huh? you're weak and too young to even be here. now go cry to your mommy you little twerp." he pushed Kevin out of the way aggressively. so hard that Kevin fell backwards and almost him is head on a metal pole. he was mad. Ava screamed "don't do its not it". she knew what Kevin was capable of, she remembered when he sent a guy to the hospital for flirting with her.

Kevin got up and (lets call him Jacob) pushed Jacob in a way for him to turn around. "hey! don't ever talk to me like that again." Jacob pushed him back "oh yeah? and what are you gonna do about it snowflake" Kevin punched him right at the nose. a police officer quickly tackled Kevin to the ground. knocking him out.
