CHAPTER EIGHT

(btw i added a song even tho it doesn't have to do anything with the chapter so uhhhh.....yeah)

Ava and Danny BARGED into Melanie room. Melanie jumped in fear and fell out of her bed as if a killer was chasing her. "MELANIE!!" Ava yelled. "WHAT!?" Melanie was mad because she was having a perfectly good dream. Danny immediately got Melanie phone and started going though it to text a couple of people. "hey! what are you doing!? get off my phone!!" Danny gave her a threatening glare and kept going through her phone. "Melanie! we think that adults have just disappears from existence.." Ava was shaking."w-what? what are you talking about?!" Melanie face was covered in confusion. Danny tried to explain the best he could "so basically every month everyone calls their parents, siblings, cousins, basically family in general and today Ava said that the contacts for any ADULT in her family just disappeared. then i checked my phone and the same thing happened. we woke up everyone else and it happened to them too." Melanie was in complete shock.

~time skip~

everyone finished breakfast completely full after discussing the whole problem. glen was pretty confused but they've watched plenty of conspiracy videos growing up so you would know that their mind was going crazy. Kevin got up an went to the living room to watch tv. danny and ava were still contacting their ibfs to see if it was happening to them too. it was. kevin scrolled through all the channels to see the news to explain what was happening.

*teenager on tv* "um..h-hi guys so uh, my dad was the um...sorry i'm really nervous but my dad was the dude that said the weather..um so he...h-he disappeared randomly and u-uhm so did my m-mom. everyone's parents did...j-just anybody over the age of 21 in general. even the president. everyone. " she was shaking.

kevin turned off the tv. everyone's had their jaws on the floor. "so it's not just us. it's worldwide."
"oh no" said danny. "what are we gonna d-" "we can't do anything" ava interrupted. "but hey! i mean...we've always wanted a world with no adults right? let's just t-try to make the best of it" melanie turned her phone off. "you're right. now...let's go have fun!!"
everyone was finally excited since ava made something good out of the situation.
