LISA

I was panting hard and catching my breath, hands on my knees, supporting my whole body not to stumble on the ground. We've been fighting and running since God– not Jennie's father- knows how long we are fighting for our life and running away from all the demons, we also left Jisoo's luggage somewhere on the road and the only thing that was left on us was our backpacks.

Dad didn't warn us about this, he told us that we might have an enemy other than our own demons, but he didn't tell us that there were thousands of demons here who were trying to kill us! That old hag!

And worst, I already lost track of time, I don't know how long we've been here, I don't know how many sunset and sunrise I've missed, my watch isn't working here, like the arm of my watch stopped from moving so I really had no clue if how many days had already passed, there's no sun here and only the fire in Jisoo's torch was the only light serves us to see the way. The flashlight isn't working anymore because Jisoo used it to hit one demon and it split into two.

"Damn, I'm so f-fucking t-tired!" Jisoo groaned as she pierced the tip of the torch on the ground then flops her butt down on the ground, legs spread out and hands pressing on her sides."How l-long will it take to f-find those s-shit and how long have w-we been here?"

"I d-don't know." I replied, still catching my breath. "I've lost t-tracks."

"I swear that I w-will k-kill that demon!"

"We've been told n-not..." I paused to heave a breath and slowly sat down on the ground next to her but I positioned myself opposite of her. "..to kill them." I finishes.

"This is so exhausting, I need food, a soft bed, a shower and I want to see Chaeyoung!"

"Same bitch." I said causing Jisoo to snap her head at me. "But Jennie, not Chaeng anf we n-need to finish this shit before we'll go home."

"But when– holy shit!" Jisoo suddenly stood up when a demon jumped on her and she spun around to kick the demon on his stomach just before he could get to her. Jisoo unsheathed the dagger behind her and stabbed the demon mercilessly. "Die motherfucker! Die! Each and everyone of you! Die!" I watched her growling and hissing while continuously stabbing the already dead demon.

These demons are every human demon, they are the ones who cannot go out or have control to their human body, all they can do was to whisper and it depends on their human body if they will listen to their demon or not, unlike our demons that could take control over us because we literally have demon blood flowing on our nerves.

"That's enough." I said as I squeezed her shoulder. "Let us take a rest and eat some chocolate to regain our strength."

"I already have diabetes for eating too much chocolate." Jisoo hissed. She kicked the dead demon's body before she turned to face me. "I'm tired, Lis. I just want some sleep."

I smiled at her weakly and patted her head before roaming my eyes around. "Let us rest there." I said while pointing at the big rock that it has a hole in it like a cave. Jisoo picks up the torch and kills the fire.

"If there's a light, there's life and I don't want some shit to interrupt my sleep." She said.

We both entered the mini cave crawling on our already bruised knees, Jisoo immediately pulled out a hoodie on her backpack and spread it out on the ground before she lay down. She opened her phone that she brought with her– even if she knew that it would be no use– and put it under her hoodie to serve us a dim light, though I brought mine too.

"Go to sleep, I'll be the look out." I said but Jisoo propped her head up and shook her head.

"You need to rest too." She said and she sat up, pulled out another cloth on her backpack and put it beside her and tapped it after. "Let's sleep, relax, we'll be fine."
