LISA
"M-manoban!"
I clenched my eyes tightly as I heard Jennie cry my last name, I leaned my back on the door and my head hung low. I started to cry and put my hand on my mouth, muffling my sobs with the back of my palm.
"Lisa.." Jisoo's voice laced with empathy and sympathy and her hand rested on my shoulder and squeezed it lightly. "They'll be fine." She said soothingly, her arms encircled to my neck and pulled me down.
My frail body shakes uncontrollably against her hold, fisting the side of her shirt tightly, as if my life depends on it, the pain inside me was so raw making my whole world fall apart. My twin that I haven't had the chance to see them will get bury 6 feet under the ground, my two angels that will never see how the sun would rise in the morning and how would it set, painting the sky pink and orange, they will never feel the warmth of their mom's embrace, they will never see me watching them with full of love in my eyes, they will never hear me saying how much I love them and that is all because of Kai.
"Lisa, they'll be f–."
"I l-lost my kids." I said to cut off Irene on my side while sobbing hysterically and I felt Jisoo's body stiffened and she drew a sharp breath.
"Y-you got twins." She whispered.
"And I lost t-them." I said, my voice came out whiney and I buried my face further into her neck and cried my heart out.
"Jisoo!" Ryujin's voice roared in the hallway, making the three of us jump on our spot and Jisoo pulled away, only just to charge forward to Ryujin and was about to hit her but she stopped her hand in the air when the latter spoke again. "Chaeng is in the delivery room!"
"W-what? Why? It is not–."
"She got stressed upon hearing what happened to Jennie and she bleeds!"
"Holy shit shit shit!" Jisoo said and she looked back at me, she was going to run back but she paused and looked back at Ryujin, then she looked back at me and finally decided to approach me, she grabbed my nape and let our forehead hit against each other. "Wait for me, I'll be back buddy!" She said with eyes closed and tapped my head before she released me and she ran in godspeed to Ryujin. "Stay here and accompany Lisa, I'll be fine!"
"Momo and Joy were there!"
"Thank you, dickhead!" Jisoo shouted before she turned on the left but she ran back to the right. "Wrong turn!" She shouted while waving her hand at me giddily.
I chuckled softly and wiped my tears with my shirt and I felt Irene's hand squeezing my hand. "Are you ok?" She asked but I shook my head.
"No." I honestly replied.
"Lisa!" Ryujin shouted and she ran to me, throwing her body onto mine but I spun around to avoid her and she fell on her face. "Ouch! Damn it, Lisa!"
I ignored her and walked to the metal bench on the corner and sat weakly, both hands gripping the edge of the bench while still sobbing. "Jennie will definitely get mad at me because I chose her over our children."
"Over your children? A twin?" Ryujin asked.
"Yeah, a twin."
"Oh my–."
"The doctor gave me choices whether it's Jennie or them and..." I let the words trail off as my tears started to race down again and I put my hands on my face, and didn't have any strength to speak again.
"And you chose Jennie." Ryujin said sadly, she sat next to me and wrapped me in her arms. "You did the right thing."
"B-but why do I feel bad doing the r-right things?" I asked.
