"I'm sorry." My head snapped behind me, looking over my shoulder to have a sight of Jiyong with my brows creased, confused as to why he's suddenly apologizing after hurting all of us and brought me here in a place that I surely know is not a part of the underworld. 

He removed his arm on my neck as he leaned back on the wall behind him with his head hanging low, then his shoulders started to shake. I became more confused and turned my body to face him and bent my body to see his face under. 

"Why are you crying?" I asked confusedly.

"I'm s-sorry." He repeated and when his head lifted up and our eyes met, I chuckled bitterly, looking away from him and rolled my eyes. 

"How could you be so damn stupid for doing that to your daughter?" I scowled at him and I moved like I was gonna smack his head but I stopped when he suddenly crouched down covering his head with his arm. "Stupid!" I hissed instead and turned my heels abruptly.

"I'm sorry–."

"Stop saying sorry! You stupid! I just want to know why you had to do that!"

"Because she won't listen to me, she's stubborn and prideful, she's a baby.." Jiyong pouts and I can't help but to roll my eyes in annoyance. "Look, Jennifer–."

"It's Jennie, not Jennifer!"

"Ok, whatever. I still hate your father." He snorts. "But as I was saying, I want you to go back to where you came from." 

"You don't get to tell me what I should do!"

"If you insist on staying with my baby–."

"Stop calling her your baby! I'm the only one allowed to call her that!" I glowered.

"Would you shut up for a second and listen to me? You're such a brat! How did Lisa handle you?!" I opened my mouth in a mock surprise and stared at him incredulously. "If you stay with her, I had no choice but to kill her before her demon powers emerge from her and protect you from her own kind and your oh so fucking great father, he won't stop until he kills Lisa, so it's up to you, would you like to stay with her but she'll die after a week or so? Or–."

"Why do you want me to go back, if you could kill me now?" I asked to cut him off and looked at him emotionless.

"I don't want her to despise me just like how you despise your father." He said with a bitter smile, his eyes still glistening with tears and I don't know if he's talking to me sincerely, but the way he's giving me choices is enough to tell me that he's sincere and serious. "She's the only person I have, Jen, unlike you, you still has your mother and your oh so fucking great father and that annoying kid that doesn't want to accept that she's one of your kind..." 

He really hates my father huh? But who is she talking about? Who's annoying kid?

"Just so you know, we can fight together for our forbidden love."

"Romeo and Juliet died at the end of their forbidden love." He said as he stifled a dry laugh. "Not related to both of you, I just love that movie."

"No wonder you are really Lisa's father." I scoffed and rolled my eyes, crossing my arms against my chest. "But I will never leave Lisa."

"You have to, that's love you were talking about? Are only delusions, would you still want to be with her seeing her suffer and fighting everyday just to protect you? Would you still like to be with her even if you're fighting against all odds?"
