JENNIE

Never have I imagined that I can see Lisa talking with another girl in front of me, knowing that I am two months and one week pregnant. The way her lips will curve into a wide grin while talking to every woman in our way was such a disheartening experience.

My gaze pierced at her back with my arms crossed against my chest, clenched jaw and gnashing teeth. My gaze is burning in anger, and if looks could kill, Lisa is probably dead by now because of my glares.

My cat-like eyes widened when Lisa smiled at the woman in front of her, before she turned around and when she looked at me, she frowned and it was my turn to flash her my wide smile before she walked towards me.

"Here's your ice cream." She said as she handed me the cup of milk ice cream that she brought from the girl she was having a conversation with.

"Thank you babe!" I beamed and scooted closer to her when she sat next to me and I laid my head on her shoulder. "Want some?" I offered one scoop in front of her mouth but she shook her head, I frowned and shoved the ice cream in my mouth instead. "Babe, I already said sorry."

"Hmm." Lisa hums.

"You're still mad." I stated the obvious coldness of her voice.

"I'm not."

"Yes you are, the scowl on your face telling me otherwise." I said nonchalantly and shrugged my shoulder.

She sighs loudly and I can see in my peripheral vision that she's now looking at me, her mouth opening and closing, rage are in her face with her eyes blinking in disbelief.

"Jennie." She called after.

"Hmm?"

"Turn them back." She said but I scoffed and looked away. "Jen–."

"You're mad at me, so no." I cut off.

"Who wouldn't get mad about that?"

"I already apologized."

"Jen, how many girls have you turned into a cat? 8? 9? What the hell?! They were all stall's clerks! Of course, I need to talk to them! And your jealousy...oh for God– hell!"

"You were smiling at them!" I scowled at her and scooted back from my spot earlier, still looking away.

"Because I had to! They were asking me nicely, what do you want me to do?"

"You don't have to smile at every woman you'll see, especially when you are with me!"

"Jesus!" Lisa blurted out as she stood up abruptly. "If you don't want me to talk to any girls, we should've stayed inside the house!"

I shut my eyes close and released a groan and looked at her. "I'm pregnant Lisa."

"I know." She whispered lowly and weakly sat back. "But babe, I let you out of the house because I just wanna make you feel ok but—."

"All you do is look the other way." Jisoo, who's been silent all this time, chimes in, singing the Billie Eilish song. "Let's go home." She said as she stood up and offered her hand to her girlfriend sitting next to her. "I knew, going out was a bad idea."

"Smiling at girls was a bad idea." Chaeyoung scoffed before reaching for Jisoo's hand.

"Turn them back to normal, Chaeng. Those women are all innocent, if you're mad, you should get mad at me instead, not to–." Jisoo stopped talking when Chaeyoung glared at her and put her arms on her waist.

"You fucking smiled at those women as if I was not with you, Kim Jisoo!"

Jisoo looked at the woman beside me and they both shook their heads. "Sorry." They said in unison but it's obvious that they just said that to stop us from being a bitch to every woman that they'll encounter.
