16//missed you

Lizzie's pov

The moment the car stopped at the door I literally thought ......why they need cars for such a small distance. Suddenly, the door burst open and rose ran towards me & hugged me tightly. Behind her I spotted a woman in her early 50. She looked into at me and gave me a welcoming smile.

"I miswed you" comes the voice of rose.

"me too" with that I hugged her more tightly.

"cowme with me" she practically dragged me inside the house.

When I entered I saw cole talking with someone. When he saw me he gave one of his usual glares but quickly softened up maybe because of rose. I stared into his cold eyes wanting to tell him fuck off and leave us alone but I couldn't tell him that, not wanting to pick a fight with other Rodriguez brother the fucker is enough to tolerate right now.

Maybe after I buried him somewhere I will.

"I will show you my thiwngs ...they all are pwetty." Rose said with all the excitement.

"Ok rose but we need to talk first." I told her and lock the door behind us.

The room was pretty but the interior was as usual was covered in black. There were colors like white at some places but the black dominates most of the room.

"What do you want to talk awout lizzie." Rose asked me while I was busy in seeing the fucking interior the mansion is beautiful like of ivan's but same story they belong to our kidnappers.

"Rose promise me you will honestly answer." Maybe before I came here they have threatened her not to tell anything.

"o..ok" she looked confused while replying. She sat of the armchair with a pink dolphin stuffy in her hand and I sat opposite on the single sofa.

"did they treat you well?" I don't want to imagine what they have done to her while we were away.

"oh yes...maria gives me food which I like but she also fowrces me to eat heawlthy food which is yuck...and she alwso help me in owther things and daddy is the sweetest."

That made me snapped.

"And who the fuck is daddy?" I asked in a loud voice.

"oops!! swrry he told me to call him cole in front of others." She calmly replies.

"he tell you what." I said.

"lizzie swrry don't be angry." She said while sobbing a little bit. I should have calmed down. I know rose mental status I shouldn't have snapped in front of her if anyone is wrong here is the fucker's brother.

I hugged rose to calm her down but suddenly the door slammed open and cole walked inside with his cold face. Maybe all the brothers should have also learned how to show some emotions.

"what did you do this time...rose come here." He asked in an angry voice.

"no she will not go anywhere closer to you." I hugged her more while whispering sweet things to her.

"lizzie...

"don't fucking lizzie me....what did you do to her she is calling you fucking daddy. Stop playing with her brain you don't wanna mess with me." I shouted with all the power.

"lizzie listen to me for once please" he try to resonate but guess what not gonna happen fucker's brother.

"Lizzie I'm trying to be very patient here so unless you don't wanna me to ruin this time just listen to me."

This is the first time I'm here closer to rose maybe if I behave they will let me to see her more often. Lizzie ....don't ruin this for you the fucker is already became your enemy, so try to maintain good relations with cole.

"ok" I replied. And cole started at me in pure shock.

"ok let's go downstairs in my office...I wanted to discus something with you." I nod and rose followed me behind but suddenly cole stopped.

"oh not you baby." Cole said.

"why" she asked.

"Because maria wanted to watch cartoons with you....and we wanted have private things to talk." He explained it rose more like sweetly command to rose not to go with him.

"But I want to pwly with lizzie." She pouts but nodded in agreement after few minutes.

"maria I'm cowming to watch the cartoons." With that she ran towards the hall where maria was.

"so you are fucking manipulating her." I seethed in anger.

"That's....

He stopped in the mid sentence and gestured me to go inside the office. I thought his office was downstairs. Why someone would keeps two offices in the house.

"Sit down" he said and sat on the other side of the table.

"No I would like to keep standing." I taunt.

"lizzie.....i insist" his reply gave me a shock. I raised my eyebrow on his reply but sat however. Looks like my first mini victory against the Rodriguez. 

"so" I started.

"lizzie I don't wanna waste my time with you. So I will keep it simple. I wanted to appoint a speech therapist plus a physiologist for rose to help her to talk properly."

By the time he finished I didn't realized that I was staring him. He wanted to help rose. Wanted to take care of rose. But.. Why? He surely has some hidden motive behind this.

"Why...I mean why do wanna help us, there is no way we can pay you back or you are planning something. Tell me."

He smiled before saying, "no plan lizzie I just wanted to help her."

"And wait a second why would I fucking planned something against her."

He was right he doesn't have something against rose. But my past experiences told me not to trust anyone not even your closed one at the end of the day everyone is selfish. Rose is the sweetest person I know I don't want her to spend her rest of the life like this depending on someone else.

I take a deep breath before replying.

"Because nobody likes us...I guess." I boldly reply not showing any emotion.
