"And that's the last report" said Aiden & handed me the file about the vipers.
"Again .......nothing." I murmur & sighed in frustration.
"Is there any small progress or anything that you are not telling me?" I asked while taking a sip from my drink. Nothing can beat alcohol in stress.
He waited for few minutes probably scared to tell me.
"Anything" I snarled. He quickly straightens up his posture but didn't make any eye contact. This guy is pissing me off more than lizzie.
"No sir...we are trying though." He speaks in a lower voice. Bloody coward.
"So you are fucking telling me for the past 24 hours you guys didn't find a single thing about them." I shouted losing all my temper.
I didn't know what I was doing when I suddenly grabbed that man with collar.
"Listen to me very carefully...if you didn't give me anything about them in 1 hour ...I'm gonna fucking kill you."
Suddenly Spencer walked into the room...
"IVAN...what are doing...leave him." Spencer tried to break my hold on his neck. When I suddenly realized he was out of breath then I leave him.
"Leave for now" Spencer said & that fucking asshole leaves the room.
"And for Ivan tried to calm down...we will surely find something so don't worry about it." With that he sits on the couch.
"What are doing here on the first place didn't roman assigned you some work." I said as tried to calm my nerves'. I haven't been this anger before what is happening to me.
"You almost behave like roman." Spencer said raising his eyebrow.
"So?"
"So...what is bothering you...work or lizzie." With that he pours himself a drink.
"Work of course ....a girl like lizzie can never bother me." I said & once again I started looking at the files.
"She is good girl...I can tell." He told me. Why everybody is rooting for her. I don't like her one bit. She is annoying & irritating. Like any other girl.
"She is not different than any other girl out there." With that I slammed the file on the desk. I'm really stressing about this now. There is something that they are planning against us. Maybe it's not big but something small.
"What's in that file?" Say Spencer pointing on the black file which I left.
"ah!! It's nothing....it's about the fucking warehouse which we left abandoned when we shift in our new mansion." I explained & he looked me with wide eyes.

"Are you serious right now, even if it's abandoned still it's our territory?"

The door suddenly burst open by aiden who was panicking in fear. I & Spencer both look towards him and then each other in confusion. What happened now?

The moment he said those word my attention fully drawn towards him.
"What happened to it?" it wasn't supposed to go like this. We were supposed to be one step ahead of them. Plus the suspense is killing me.
"I.ASKED.WHAT.HAPPENED.TO.IT" with that I slammed my hand on the table while planning to kill him now for sure.
"It...burnt...nothing left there." He said it slowly trying to make things look alright. But guess what it's not.
"guards." I said & soon enter the room. I gestured them to take this asshole away from me.
"p..please don't do this sir...I will help you in future." He said when his voices faded in the air.fucking asshole first learn how to save yourself. Spencer walked in my direction & put a hand on shoulder.
"Ivan we have to inform roman & Cole." Spencer told me and I nod.
"We have to check the warehouse first" I grabbed my court & run toward the car. I also dismissed the driver. I sat on the driver's side & Spencer on the other side.
"Call Cole." I said and also put the location of warehouse on my gps.
After few rings, Cole picks up the call. I can clearly listen the sounds of a TV running in the background. Probably watching something with rose. This guy is whipped up.
"What is it?" He asked in annoyed tone.
"Sorry to ruin your night Mr. Cole Rodriguez but it's kinda important." I informed him.
"What happened?" he asked clearly pissed off with the situation. I have no idea how roman gonna take this news.
"The old warehouse got burnt down by the vipers." I was so angry with myself right now.
"What the hell...did roman know about this?" Fuck great question.
"You can do the honors." With that I hung up.
"Seriously you're not going to inform roman by yourself." He gave me an amused face.
"I don't wanna deal with roman anger right now. Besides Cole can do the job better." I speed up the car because I wanted to be there first while they arrive.
"You're going fast kiddo." He said.
"Then buckle up." I smirked and hit the accelerator.
