My mind was racing. I hope Eddie's ok. The nurses office is just around the corner. I turn the corner and reach the office. I take a deep breath before walking in. I see Bev standing next to one of the bed thingys. I walk over to Eddie and Bev. "What'd the bastard do now?" I ask. The nurse looked over at me and gave me a glare then turned back to the kid with a black eye and a bloody nose and gave him an ice pack before sending him back to class. I rolled my eyes. "Hey Eds you ok?" I asked Eddie. He nodded and smiled. "I just have a chipped tooth and a bunch of bruises but I'm ok." He replied. "Hey now you look like a badass." The nurse glared at me and said "Mr. Tozier watch the language." she said. "Sorry Miss." I replied only now realizing I don't know what her name is. Beverly laughed. "What's so funny?" I ask. "You." she said with a dazy voice. "Uh Bev what are you talking about?" I say. She laughs again. "Shut up Tozier and just kiss me." She replys. "What no-" oops too late. Beverly Marsh had just planted her soft lips on mine. She smiled into the kiss and winked. She pointed to Eddie. He looked like he was sad. I pulled away and rolled me eyes but smiled. "Beverly Marsh you seem to impress me every day." "Ok I think I'm reddie to go back to class." Eddie said getting off of the bed. "You sure, Eds?" I asked. "Positive and don't call me Eds." He replied. I ruffled his hair and smirked. He smiled a little then slapped me and whispered "Fuck you." I replied, "Where and when." Eddie rolled his eyes then flipped me off. He walked out of the nurses office and I just stared at him. Bev cleared her throat. "Bev, why'd you do that?" I asked. Be shrugged. "To get his reaction." She said. "You sick human being." I replied. She gasped and I playfully slapped her. They got up and left the office laughing.
