I get everything packed and make my way out of my house. I may only be seventeen but that isn't going to stop me from leaving here. I am tired of my parents telling me that I need to take classes in a certain subject so I can run the family company and know what I am doing. It is time I get out of Beckton and find something I like. Something that is me, if anything I can find out who I am.

"Leyla, please. Let's talk about this."

I hand my bag to George, "there isn't anything to talk about. I will only be gone for a couple of months... when I get back, we can talk."

"Russ, tell her not to go."

My father just shrugs his shoulders, "we can count it as her graduation present."

My mom turns to him, "Russ!"

I say goodbye quietly before sneaking out and getting in the car. I get to the airport and get in, knowing that the sooner I go the better it might be. I am so glad I finished schooling early so I can do this without worrying about grades. I walk to the terminal so I can get on the plane when a man comes up to me.

"Excuse me, miss."

I look at him, "yes?"

He rubs the back of his neck, "do you happen to have a plane ticket to Llyn, Astya? I got the wrong ticket and there are no more seats..."

I slowly nod my head, "I do..."

"Would you mind... maybe trading me? It is to Danbu, Astya."

I look at the man and debate on my choices. Everyone knows who I am so I don't know if this is one of those videos people do to show how kind others are or not. Then again I feel bad for him. There was a reason I didn't use my parents' money, it was so I can do this one my own. I thought I wanted to go to Llyn but I guess I wouldn't mind going to Danbu instead.

I hand it to him, "no problem."

He hands me the ticket, "thank you so much."

He walks away and I look at the ticket, letting out a sigh. I guess I can call the airport and have my stuff sent to Danbu now. If anything I will just have it sent back home and just buy new clothes for the time I am there. I am sure my parents won't mind that. If anything I won't have to buy new clothes for a while.

I make my way to the new terminal and get on. It was a normal seat but I am fine with it. I don't need anything special. I put my earbuds in and the long ride starts. I don't even bother talking to the people around me, thankfully they get the message. After one of them tried saying that they know me from somewhere I stopped talking to her and put my earbuds in again. I am trying to stay away from people recognising me.

I watch some of the videos I have on my phone before turning it off and looking up. I hate long rides without really anything good to do. I knew I should have left my one book out, it is a good one so far. Nothing like a person on the run who is also really smart despite what others believe, looks can be deceiving. I let out a sigh and look at the screen in front of me, clicking a button to see how much longer we have until we land. At least it is only an hour now.

Sadly we had to land before we got there, something about there being a problem with something. They give us a hotel for the night, all the planes to Danbu have been grounded until the morning, some saying there is a horrible storm there. I get to the hotel and go to bed, exhausted from everything that has happened. My alarm goes off and I get up, changing into a pair of yoga pants and a black shirt to be comfortable for the rest of the trip. I go out to the airport early, not wanting to be late.

I get through security and go to the terminal, waiting ten minutes before getting on the plane again. The good news is that it will only be an hour tops. Most of the people ended up canceling and staying in Willingston. Not a bad idea but I really want to go to Danbu now. Someone sits next to me but they don't really talk. I pulled my book out before I put my bag away and I am glad I did.
