Chapter 4 - Crush?

Quinns Pov:

School is now over and we're at Markos place. I called mom and she said that it is fine as long as I'm back home at 6pm for dinner.

We're all now sitting in the living room, Marlene, Chloe and I are on the couch and the guys are on armchairs.

"Man why is Sam so mean!" I whine which makes the others laugh.

"She's not mean." Marko says and I sigh.

"She is to me." I reply while crossing my arms

"She just needs time, Quinn. She's kinda always like this, so don't take it too personal." He responds and I sigh while nodding.

"So..have you already met someone cute today?" Chloe asks with a smirk.

I don't know why but Sam immediately popped into my head. I mean..she is cute..but also really an ass to me.

"Aww are you thinking about her right now?" Chloe asks teasingly which makes me blush.

"No, because there wasn't anyone I found cute or interesting." I reply with a shrug.

"You sure?" Peter asks with a grin.

"Yes, why?" I ask back.

"Well..maybe because you kept on staring at Sam in class." He says which makes me blush.

I scoff. "No, I didn't."

"Just because I think she's cute doesn't mean I like her." I blurt out.

"I thought you didn't found anyone cute." Chloe says with a grin and I groan.

"Can we please switch the subject?" I ask which makes them laugh.

"Sure."

Sam's Pov:

I arrive at my house and get inside. I take off my shoes and walk into the living room.

When will mom and dad arrive?

I sit down on the couch and just look through my Instagram.

I then got the notification that Quinn wants to follow me which makes me raise my eyebrow.

I open her profile and look through her pictures.

22 million followers..

That's ridiculous..

I then click on one of the videos and turn on my volume.

Quinn then start singing the refrain  of "Let me love you" by Ne-Yo.

I love this song..

I can hate her as much as I want but her voice is beautiful. Nearly perfect.

After the video was over I click on another video but this time she's dancing.

I didn't know she could dance..

I've been dancing (mainly hip hop and breakdance) since I was nine years old but no one except Marko knows about that.

I also love singing but again..no one knows about that. And I never sing so no one could know.

After watching the dance video I open her story. In the story are pictures with her and the others, who are all at Markos right now.

I then close her story, accept her following request and then follow her back.

The front door then suddenly opens which makes me stand up. I walk towards the door and my eyes widen.

"Hey honey." Mom says with a wide smile.

Quinns Pov:

"Oh my god guys, Sam followed me back!" I exclaim excitedly and they laugh.

I quickly click on her profile and look through her picture with a small smile.

"Look how happy she is that her crush is following her back on Instagram." Marlene teases which makes me blush.

"I don't have a crush on her!" I whine and she laugh.

"I'm your best friend. You can tell me anything." She says with a smirk.

"Why don't you guys believe me that I don't have a crush on her?" I ask annoyed.

"Because we like to annoy you." Marko answers which makes the others laugh.

"Thanks guys." I reply sarcastically and they just smile.

"Hey, I just got a text that Ryan is throwing a welcome back party next month. Do you guys wanna go?" Peter asks and we all agree.

"Why only next month? School started today." Chloe asks.

"His parents cancelled their plans and now they're only gone next month. And because Ryan is so popular everyone is going anyways." Peter answers with a shrug.

"And um..what do you usually do on parties?" I ask shyly and they frown.

"She never was at a party." Marlene says and they gasp.

"Okay okay..so you usually dance, maybe drink something and just have fun." Chloe explains.

"Oh okay...cool." I reply while nodding.

"Are you guys going to drink?" I ask.

"Well I'm the driver so nope." Marko answers.

"I will." Peter says and Chloe nods in agreement.

"And you?" I ask while looking to Marlene.

"I don't know, maybe?" She answers and I nod.

"Is Sam coming too?" I ask and they smirk.

"Yeah she probably will." Marko replies with a grin.

"Okay.." I mumble while blushing.

Maybe I do have a little crush on her..
