Chapters 13 - So small and cute

Quinns Pov:

It's now a bit later and Marko is coming soon. Mom went out with her friends so she isn't home but she left us some food.

Sam has now been asleep for a few minutes and she looks really cute while doing so.

I still can't believe what happened earlier. Sam..nearly kissed me..

I immediately get goosebumps when I think about it.

The doorbell then suddenly rings which makes my eyes widen. "Quinn?" Marko yells and I quickly grab my phone and texted him that the door is open and he should just come in.

The door then opens and Marko walks in. His eyes widen when he saw me and Sam and is mouth slowly turns into a smirk.

"Aww look at you two." Marko said which makes me blush.

"I-She wanted to sleep.." I mumble and he chuckles while sitting down on the armchair, who is next to the couch.

"What happened?" Marko asks and I sigh.

"George beat her up because she doesn't want to stay away from me.." I answer.

"This idiot! Why can't he just leave Sam alone?" He asks and I raise my eyebrow.

"Sam has been on his radar since freshman year and no one knows why." Marko explain and I look down at Sam.

She then turn on her back but didn't woke up. I place my hand on her cheek and start caressing it softly.

"She's so small and cute..why would someone ever want to hurt her?" I ask and Sam then smiles while leaning under my touch.

"You know she's taller than you, right?" Marko saye which makes me laugh.

"She's still my little baby." I mumble which makes him smile.

"You really like her, don't you?" He asks which makes me look up to him.

"I- Yeah I do." I murmur and he smiles.

"She likes you too, you know. She constantly talks about you when we're hanging out." Marko says and I smile widly.

"Really?" I ask excitedly and he nods while laughing.

"Yeah, she always complains how cute you look in different situations." He explain and I frown.

"Complains?" I ask confused.

"Okay well here's an example of what she said yesterday, "Maaan, why does Quinn look so cute with a bun?!" " Marko says and I couldn't help but chuckle at his Sam imitation.

"So..she's annoyed that I'm cute?" I ask and he nods which makes me smile.

"Yeah pretty much."

Sam then turns on her side again so that her face is facing my body. She then buries her face in my stomach and wraps her arms around my waist.

I place my hand on her head again and brush through her hair with my fingers.

"Sammy?" I whisper but she didn't react.

"Sam?" I call her a bit louder but she just shakes her head.

"No." She whines which makes me chuckle.

"But your cheek and stomach are bruised. Doesn't it hurt?" I ask and start to gently scratch her scalp.

"No." Sam mumble and I smile.

"Okay." I whisper and stroke over her temple with my thumb.

"Hey Sam." Marko says and she slowly lifts her head.

"Hi." Sam mumble and then buries her face back into my stomach.

"You're comfy there, Sam?" Marko asks and she hums in response which makes me smile.

"You know Sam..I thought you don't like body contact." He says and Sam lifts her head to look at him.

"I don't like body contact with people I don't feel comfortable with." She replies while sitting up on my lap, facing me.

"So you feel comfortable with me?" I ask while wrapping my hands around her lower back.

"I do." Sam says which makes me smile widly.

"And you trust me?" I ask and she nods.

I then lean closer to her face while biting my lip. Sam tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear and then lay her arms over my shoulders.

"Then trust me with this." I whisper before placing my lips on hers.

I can feel Sam's grib tighten on my shoulders and I pull her body closer. We then hear Marko squeal which makes us chuckled, so we pull away.

"Seriously Marko?" Sam asks annoyed but still smile.

"What? It's your first kiss! It's a big deal!" Marko exclaims which makes her blush.

Sam then places her chin on my shoulder and I start dragging my fingers up and down her back.

"So..I know Sam doesn't feel very well but are you guys still going on your date tonight?" Marko asks.

"Well..if Sam doesn't feel well enough to go on our date then we can move it to another night." I say and Sam lifts her head.

"No. I want to go out with you tonight. I wanted to do that for the past few days." She replies which makes me smile.

"Okay." I whisper before kissing her softly.

We then pull away and Sam lays the side of her head against my collarbone.

"Are you two going to make your relationship public?" Marko asks.

"Well..first, I don't think Sam wants to make our relationship public yet. Honestly me neither. And second, we didn't even define our relationship." I reply and Sam lifts her head.

"Well..w-will you be my girlfriend?" She asks and I smile widly.

"I would love to." I say and she lean in to kiss me softly.

"B-But can we keep this as a secret for a while? I dont really know how your fans would react to me.." Sam mumble and I bring my hands up to her face.

"My fans will love you, don't worry. And honestly..I don't care what my fans think of you. I want to be with you and no one can stop me from that." I tell her and she smiles.

"Also my fans will probably see you at some point." I add and she frowns.

"Well..paparazzi is everywhere so they might see you on pictures with me." I explain.

"Oh..okay.." Sam mumbles and I pull her face towards mine for a little kiss.

"Everything is going to be fine, don't worry baby."
