CHAPTER 03: PHONE CALL

"Hai! Arigatou Nii-san! Even though you're so far, you always be there to guide and teach me something important of being a person." states Kiyoshi remembering his big brother always helping him. "You know Nii-san!? You're the best big brother I ever have in the whole universe, Arigatou!"

"Kiyoshi! That's what big brother would do, to guide and support you on the way, I will never abandon you, ok?" Tenma take a glance at the clock "Oh no! I'm late for the morning practice. Kiyoshi! I will see you soon."

"See you soon Nii-san! Bye!" *ends the phone call*

Tenma immediately gets all his things and starts running to the Raimon Jr. High. He is so occupy to their conversation with his brother, he forgot, he has morning practice today. He is 20 minutes late and for sure, his team will be worried about him. It's not likely for him to attend practice late. He is usually the very first one to arrive to practice.

NORMAL POV:

AT THE RAIMON SOCCER CLUB

Practice has already been started minutes ago. Currently the Raimon soccer team is at the outside field doing their usual morning practice but not today, their captain is still not arrived yet.

"Shindou-san, Tenma is still not here. It's been half an hour already. " Tsurugi can't hide his concern about his best friend. The two of them are always been partner and he is not used to the brunet attending the practiced these late.

"Yeah! It's unlikely to him to arrive these late, usually he is the one waiting for us to arrive." Shindou said. The two thinks of a possible reason of the tardiness of the brunet.

Suddenly they've been cut off by a shout coming from the staircase "Minna!". The whole team looks up, there they saw their beloved captain running down.

"So-rry for be-ing late." Tenma pants hard. He's been running non-stop, dodging the people on the street and making some turns just to get to school.

"Tenma! Why are you late? Do you know how worried we are? Usually you're the first one to arrive." asked Shindou, curious at what's the reason. The team is just listening carefully to the conversation between their captain and the gamemaker, also wants to hear the reason.

"Gomen Shindou-san! I have something important to do before going here. Don't worry about it!" smiles the brunet making sure his team won't be worried.

"What is that important thing?" Shindou is still curious. "Shindou-san! Let's just continue our morning practice, shall we? It's almost timed before school starts. Yosh minna! Let's go practice." "Yeah!" responds the team. Tenma runs away from Shindou, obviously trying to avoid his question.

"Shindou-san?" Tsurugi calls the gamemaker telling him that something suspicious is going on to their friend.

"I know. Something he doesn't tell us. I think we should find out to ourselves what it is." Tsurugi nods agreeing at the gamemaker. They doubt the brunet hides something from them, but they can't think of any reason what it is.

"Let's just take a close eye on him, probably we can find something." says the stoic striker. The two takes a look at their captain happily playing soccer.
