Without missing a beat, Sanguko kicked the ball with all his might, sending it soaring down the field toward his awaiting teammates. The ball sailed through the air with precision, but before Raimon could capitalize on the momentum, Takuya, one of Shizen's midfielders, intercepted it with a perfectly timed leap.
With a swift motion, Takuya sent the ball flying out of the field, defusing Raimon's counterattack before it could even begin.
"That was close," he murmured, casting a glance back at Raimon's goalkeeper. A smile tugged at his lips. "Sorry for that. We won't let you counterattack that easily." With a quick nod of acknowledgment, Takuya turned and sprinted back to his position, seamlessly falling into formation with the other Shizen players.
Sanguko stood near the edge of Raimon's penalty box, the ball securely in his grasp. He scanned the field, noticing that the Shizen players had quickly retreated back to their side, forming a solid defensive line. Most of Raimon's players were already positioned deep within Shizen's territory, ready to capitalize on any opportunity to break through.
Sanguko knew they needed to move fast, or else it would all be too late. With Shizen's defense regrouping, there was no time to waste. "Shindou!" he called out, his voice filled with urgency as he quickly dropped the ball and delivered a powerful kick, sending it soaring toward the midfield.
Shindou, stationed near the center circle, leaped into the air and expertly trapped the ball with his foot. "Minna! Let's do it again," he shouted, rallying his team. Without hesitation, he passed the ball to Tsurugi.
At that moment, Shizen's defenders executed their Hissatsu Tactic: Mount Everest. The towering mountain illusion appeared once again, casting a shadow of intimidation over the field.
Undeterred, Tsurugi and Hikaru initiated a rapid pass sequence, exchanging the ball with lightning speed. Their movements were fluid and precise, a seamless dance of offense. Aoyama, Shindou, Nishiki, and Ichino surged forward in unison, forming a protective barrier around Tsurugi and Hikaru as they advanced.
However, hidden within the mountain, Ken was waiting. With his expertise in melody and rhythm, he shut his eyes and heightened his other senses, tuning into the subtle vibrations of the field. He could feel the seismic waves from the ball as it passed between Tsurugi and Hikaru, growing faster and faster with each exchange.
The moment the pace reached its peak, Ken's eyes snapped open. "Right now!" he commanded.
In a synchronized motion, the Shizen defenders broke down their Hissatsu Tactic, ducking down and dispersing in a way that left Raimon momentarily stunned. The sudden break in formation threw off Raimon's rhythm, creating an unexpected gap in their attack.
Before Raimon could react, Arion leaped over his teammates and charged into the middle of Raimon's double-wing formation. Ryuu and Hiro followed closely behind him, supporting their captain and adding to the pressure. In one fluid motion, Arion intercepted the ball, his timing impeccable.
With a swift, decisive move, he stole the ball from the pass between Tsurugi and Hikaru. This brought Raimon's double wing to a screeching halt. The field echoed with the shock of the fast interception as Arion dribbled the ball skillfully, pulling away from Raimon's offensive line.
Arion didn't press forward instead, he stopped at the center circle. With a powerful kick, he launched the ball into the sky, sending it soaring over Raimon's midfield and deep into their territory.
Ryuu and Hiro accelerated, already anticipating Arion's move, and sprinted forward into Raimon's half of the field. Their movements were in perfect sync.
As the ball descended from the sky, Ryuu and Hiro positioned themselves perfectly. The ball landed perfectly right in front of Hiro, who immediately initiated the Hissatsu shoot. His foot ignited with a brilliant, crystal-clear light, and as he struck the ball, the light intensified, transforming into an elegant, sparkling blue crystal. "Crystal..." Hiro began, his voice steady and focused.
