PREVIOUSLY: KEEP THE FALLING MOON
"Also! Before I forgot." The three turns around to face the Arakumo player. "You should know. I heard from coach, Endou Kantuko is planning a friendly match with Shizen Genki. Remind you that you should never, ever underestimate them even for a little bit. They are far more difficult than you think." Taiyou throws them a serious look, as if Shizen, the brunet's genuine team, isn't fooling about.
They were caught off guard by the news. They haven't trained for the new formation of their team, yet their coach has planned a friendly match against Shizen Genki, the mysterious team that emerges out of nowhere.
"Never mess with them, especially their captain and ace striker. You'd better get ready for what's coming." 'Cuz you will be up against his true talent and the team he's built over the years.'
Just like that Taiyou leaves them behind, too stunned to move. As much as, they want to learn more about that team. They get a nagging sensation crawling up their veins, which they hate it every single bit. After hearing the little warning Taiyou gave to them, they can say that there is more to that team than meets the eye.
............................................................................
On a clear sunny noon at the beach house, a young brunet is comfortably sleeping. After a few moments, he finally opened his lovely metallic blue eyes, adjusting the light from outside through the glass door.
When he sits up and turns to look around, all is nice and quiet apart from the sound of birds chirping and waves lapping on the shore. He does have one question, though. How come did he end up sleeping in the living room.
"Oh, Ju! You're finally awake!" Tenma turns to his side to find Hijikata carrying a cup of tea as he places it down in front of him on the coffee table alongside the gifts he found the last night.
"Arigatou, Hiji-san!" He holds the cup in his hand and enjoys a sip on some freshly brewed green tea.
"Feeling better?" Hijikata takes a seat beside him. The brunet puts down the tea and just nods as he replies to the man. "I see that you found your mother's gifts."
That stunned the brunet, his mother never mentioned that Hijikata know about this. "How?"
Hijikata crosses his arms as he tries to recollect the day when he had just saw the mistress with the gifts. "I just noticed your mother in this living room wrapping a present for your birthday. Ever since you were a toddler, you always admired her pendant and don't find it tedious to hear how the blue moon pendant came to be. As for your brother, she personally requested one of Russia's finest craftsmen to design a music box for your brother."
'So it's a music box.' He stares absentmindedly at his brother's gift. Suddenly, his heart ached a little bit, and thoughts kept flowing through his mind that he couldn't put his finger on. 'Why do I have a feeling that something seems wrong.'
"Arion!" He abruptly stops thinking and turns to face the other man, who has worry written all over his face. "You alright?"
"Yeah! I'm alright, just thinking." He quickly replies him and drinks his cup of green tea. "Hiji-san, do you still remember when my mother packed this gift?"
"It was seven years ago, a few months after your brother's birthday. I've almost forgotten about this, but I have no idea where your mother may have hidden it." Again, Tenma drifted off for a while, not looking at Hijikata. He starts to feel terrified and angry as soon as he puts everything in place. Although, he needs to have a talk with his father.
